Just heard the last time Chelsea lost their opening game of the season was v us in 1998 (The Dublin and Huckerby one as opposed to the Dublin hat-trick 12 months earlier).
I've just been on wiki looking at our squad. I know we've fallen from grace but they can never take from us that we had it. Looking through this we probably didn't realise at the time just how lucky we were during the good times:
