My issue with Reid was that he has been no where near good enough all season. CCFL is right, he has improved under Robins, but my point was that this was conveniently before Wembley. He played well two games before it, got himself a place, played well, and since has gone back to being his under par self again.

not sure what point you are trying to make.

based on performances throughout the season, neither should be in the team

Robins said he was struggling with a hamstring issue after the final so it might have been affecting his performances since.

In which case then, if a player is injured and not up to it, he probably shouldn't be on the pitch in fairness.

Will there be pigs thrown on the pitch like at the Valley game ? Charlton demonstrations have ceased like ours have I see. Not sure if that's good or bad !

don't care what they do but let's hope we don't just give up the fight

You assume that Charlton are being sold because of the protests, not because they've got both a willing seller and a willing buyer

So are you saying protests work or not?

To make SISU stay because they are fantastic owners.

Reid might not be the packets but I don't know where people get this idea of him being slow. Watch the highlights for Thomas' goal in the final, he goes from the half way line to being free by the box in no time.

Our objective for the rest of the season is to stick it to any club that thinks they are going to just roll over us and to derail as many other clubs promotion or play-off hopes as possible.
If we keep winning, we could actually finish the season top of the recent form table.

There is a Family Zone this week despite it not being a Saturday.

Normal activities in addition to Easter crafts, an Easter Egg Challenge (20p) with a chance to win Easter Eggs and also the chance to vote for the JSB Player of the Year.

There are lots of reasons why we are going down this season. For me the decision to go with Venus (in essence a caretaker) for so long was the big one. And secondly although many felt slade was the right choice initially the subsequent disastrous run proved otherwise.

Robinson was sitting among the Coventry fans at Wembley - had some nice things to say about the support at 5.15

So there is or there isn't a protest planned?

If so, good to see it's been properly communicated to fans.

Also, Reid is a waste of space and more importantly salary.

Two/three good games in a season does not make a player. Pace at any level scares defenders, never mind at ours, yet once again on Saturday their full back had him in his pocket.

Saying that, if he can find some consistency then he could be a real danger next year, but if we plan on challenging for promotion we cannot afford to carry anyone.

Agree, I would definitely be looking to ship him out.

Mowbray persisted with 3-4-3. Where in that system could you see Reid playing well?

Sorry, if you are a winger, you need to be able to out-accelerate the majority of full-backs in your league and tear them a new one, while controlling the ball. Reid may be able to control the ball when it is at his feet, but accelerate he cannot. I really hadn't noticed how slow Reid is until Jones came on at HT last Saturday. And we need a target man in the middle if we are going to be putting crosses in. Beavon has worked his socks off recently, but he ain't a target man.

Agree, Beavon has really worked very hard and it wouldn't surprise me if he was yet again rested for that shite Turd tomorrow

He was sitting amongst the sky-blue army. You can't get better seats than that mate.

So why didn't he change it after failing to win in 10? He showed in the previous season he had no plan B. He's also proven that at boro and celtic

His record since the Sheffield away game is horrendous. It's interesting that at the end of last season with no pressure we won 4 out of 5

He's a bottler under pressure I'm afraid.
