Coventry United FC heads home

Firstly, congratulations to our CCFC, really sounds like you have found your shooting boots and the Ricoh would have been rocking with excitement. Like many fans we really wish we could support you in Coventry. Anyway, we promise, when you return home we will be waiting with our unconditional support.

Granted, Cov Utd will NEVER be CCFC but we wanted to tell you about our teams start to the season. We are very proud of these young lads and with only 9 weeks playing time we are particularly impressed with the fighting spirt.

Sitting 7th in the league, we are excited to be returning home to Coventry to play our 1st home game against Enville (http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/coventryunited/news/coventry-united-vs-enville-ath-1024851.html) at the Alan Higgs. This is a league match and we are looking for another 3 points to keep pushing towards the summit of the table.

Now, this isn't an ultimatum or a difficult moral decision testing your allegiance to CCFC, it's watching a local football match on a Saturday.

We don't want your money for admission, we want you to enjoy this new Coventry football team as much as we do.

If you turn up, fair play
If this is a step too far, then we respect your choice.

Either way, PUSB...

Grendel, you really are a an idiot! Your Sky Blues have gone never to return, someone is trying to ensure a Coventry team actually playing in Coventry and all you can do is to make a daft comment........Que.....give me the evidence that CCFC will never return to Coventry!

The green and red are the Civic colours of Coventry City.
We all know Chris Owen well.

If you can tell me how the irrelevant text removed change the two lines I left in any way, I'd be delighted to hear it.

When people do that it's to highlight what's relevant, not to sneakily pretend something in full view isn't there.

Do i really need to point out the shift from 3rd person?

True it may not be the best construction, but i'm sure you can understand it

What difference does that make? It's a new team, not CCFC. They have been quite clear about that. New teams are started all the time.

1) they have been touting for supporters on the back of the Ccfc mess, and have stated that it was set up in response to the Ccfc debacle

2) I responding to tonylinc who stated "Your Sky Blues have gone never to return, someone is trying to ensure a Coventry team actually playing in Coventry" which kind of implies that there are no other Coventry based teams,
