Just had a read of that and it made me think that is the 'Get Cov back to the Ricoh' group the one that protested outside the Council House with the backing of Les Reid. I was wondering what they have done since considering that they said they would be pressuring all parties involved. I might have missed it but can anyone else remember them since the handful were outside the Council House ?

no you not, but you must be able to see that supporting "Not one penny more" and then giving SISU FA Cup ticket money is counterproductive.

I have nothing against people who want to go to Barnsley, it is just when people get slated for going to Sixfields or buying a replica shirt for giving SISU money but it is ok when people want to go to Barnsley.
I wonder how many people would support the slogan if we got to a cup semi final / final or a big draw against Man Utd or Chelsea.
The contribution from sky is a fixed amount and not variable to every subscription so the comparison is not valid.

It is a slogan more about not supporting a move to Sixfields than not supporting the team.
I personally would not go to Sixfields for the games you state actually. The only game I would go to is Northampton as an away tie in the away allocation of tickets.
The other thing is Nick, although I wouldn't go to Sixfields, I have put several posts on saying people have the right to choose. You don't appear so open minded about what you choose to criticise and what you defend.

Maybe not necessarily you personally, but that seems to be how these things generally work. Slag someone else off for doing something until you want to do it yourself.

Where did I mention only Cov fans? You stated that cancelling subscriptions would have no impact. In my opinion if, for any reason, Sky saw a large drop in subscriptions and / or viewing figures it would impact the value of the rights at renewal.
