Coventry City owner, Joy Seppala, has met with the council to discuss a potential return to the city, but manager Steven Pressley admits he's in the dark over any plans.

I think the times are a changing. Joy Sepalla seems to have taken a full hold of the reins, perhaps because she has found out she has been fed bullshit from the likes of Tim Fisher, Steve Waggott, Imre Omre and Ken Duliue before him, remember Omre turned down a chance to buy part of the Ricoh a few years ago. She is obviously a cute business woman and after admitting to Les Reid she knew sweet f/a about running a football club. my guess she has realised, maybe took advice perhaps that there can be money made, 5 millon alone from TV if in the championship. But getting the club back to the Ricoh it will need a bit of a climb down from their (sisu) previous stance, if there was a chance of buying the council out that could take months and she must have realised on just 10k gates it is costing around £200k in lost revenue.

i'd probably agree with you apart from Fisher. Fisher is her man - i don't think she's been in the dark about anything since he's been there.

totally agree, Fishman is her puppet and she would get chapter and verse from him.

certainly think there is a positive vibe now! Surely the money people rhave realised that they will never re-coup anything at this point. And with even a small amount of investment we can become something and they will eventually make in a sale.

Probably true stu - but Fishman would have told her worst estimates we'd be getting gates higher than we have. And we're on a bloody good run too ... should be 7K by Fishers calculator. Joy may have woke up to the fact the guys a bit of a prat.

Good sign if the deal is fair and balanced with all parties.

Remember, any damaging losses made by the CCC will have an affect on the people of Coventry. The same if the club was struggling financially too. Need to clean the slate to sort this out and if successful, an agreement by CCC should be set that any future correspondence should be with Joy only and Tim being excluded from any future discussions regarding the club and the Council.

I would keep Waggott out of things. He works more on the football side than Fisher. One of the few positives to come out of this debacle.

It'd b great if Joy is able to turn this around.
Certainly she's been badly advised. That much is clear to everyone.

I think he has a contract with SISU & gets a big a cut in profits or not a lot if they don't make any, that is the way they run their projects..

He's certainly paid on results if what he said at the forum is true. And as Sisu own our club, he (and everyone else at it) is a Sisu employee eventually regardless of what it says on his paycheck.

Yeah, Waggott's done a good job in really tough circumstances. Finally a good one! Fisher makes Paul Clouting look like a genius...

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Yeah there will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

Well better lyrics than dunderhead McCartney can come up with - along the who and Bowie a distinctly over rated musician and lyricist.
