If you asked someone to say the first thing that came into mind for the words 'Yorkshire man' then many unfortunately would say 'mean.'
It's just one 'fan' of course, but i don't think can ever stop certain people making the association. Same is going to happen with this new TOWIE thing set in Cov. If they are pretty scummy low life types in the show then people will make that association with Coventry itself.
