I must admit that ive lost a lot of passion this season. I wasn't even that bothered when Bradford equalised ftom the spot on Sunday. Id normally want to kick the tv over.
Sisu buggering off to Northampton has given me a chance to watch more of the national team though. My football passion is still there because i go ape when England score.
I just hope the passion for city returns but it won't whilst we play in Northampton.
same old council, dont want club to prosper.
If Sisu genuinely didn't have the money to pay the rent they would probably have a lot more support and full house gates at sixfields.
But the fact is that they chose not to pay it even though it meant administration and possible points deduction !!!!!
It's not about Sisu affording to pay the rent, it's about the football club affording to pay the rent. The football club couldn't afford to keep paying £1.2m rent.

Negotiate the rent then and dont clear off to Northampton and demand the freehold
the council wouldnt budge even a little till sisu started playing hardball.
thats hardball for normal people, not sisu
Seems like a few wanted to shake his hand and get his autograph ?!
That's ok then isn't it. I hope you thank fisher and co for stopping you and thousands of others from watching your team if you ever see him/them.

.
I couldn't give two hoots about England.
In some respects it will be good when they go out of the World Cup at the group stage, it'll save me from the hearing / reading all the drivel printed about them in the media and having to have conversations with people who don't follow football about "Where you're watching the match" "Isn't Rooney a good player"
Scottish ?
Each to there own but im very patriotic and love the national team. City will never win fuck all but we still support them.
But didn't sisu ask for a three year run-off to the last deal offered by ACL prior to going into administration?
And wasn't it rejected flat out by ACL?
Council saying "rent the ricoh until you build your stadium"

Correct, but what has that got to do with now?! Back then that obviously didn't suit ACL. Now it obviously does.
So what has changed?
Maybe the fact the lease to ACL was finally broken?
If we want to ever Again play at the Ricoh we are barking up the wrong tree. Standing on a hill won't change anything.
As long as CCC refuse to sell either the freehold or their shares in ACL to the Club we are not coming back.
Because Joy said so and as she is in command of our destiny we do what she says. Like it or not our club is owned by SISU.What has changed? You answered your own question. The lease has been broken and CCFC are not playing in Coventry.
Standing on a hill doesn't change anything. I don't recall any hillers claiming it will to be honest.
I also don't see why we can't come back under a rent deal while they build their new stadium. Why can't we?
If the council "can't" sell the freehold, then what can really be done?
