Your proof that they won't come back? Because from what I can see Otium (as much as I wish they'd feck off) have agreed a deal with the Football League and the rules state that they (Otium) were required to present plans to return to the Coventry Area within a certain amount of time. No we might not return to the Ricoh Arena again and I can't say it's ever felt like our home..

The council will grant planning permission for a new ground for SISU to build? You trust SISU on their word? It's never happened before as Wimbledon is realy a suburb of Milton Keynes?

They will be gone forever, Warwickshire is a county on the other side of the city boundry, not Coventry. Once gone they are gone forever unless SISu sell up, but by that time it could be all over.

They have to come back because the FL has rules in place place SISU have to pay a bond...... Oh wait they haven't paid a bond..... But at least we have the FL rules they never get broken....... Oh wait how come coventry had to change our fixtures when were in the higher league......

At least coventry have planning permission.... Oh they haven't.....
But at least they have a site to build on...... Oh they haven't......
thats ok because the council will support the application..... may be not.....

and if SISU break those rules, its a whopping £1 million pound fine.. or chichken feed as they call it !

I dont know this but its all very obvious. How do you know they will come back? Because Tim Fisher said they would?

How can they come back?
They will struggle to get planning permission in Coventry, then everyone and everything will appeal and argue the point, just look how long it took to get the ok for the Ricoh.
It could take 10 years, then they have to build a stadium, but by then our support will be dead or moved onto ther things.
Only option will be outside Coventy in Warwickshire, but these Councils are much slower and particular about where and what is built.
Eventually SISU will say they tried and only way to contine playing (in whatever league) is to move.
The FL will change the rules to suit and argue its whats best for the sport, the supporters and the club./

No but I have the opinion based on the truth on an agreement which there is between Otium and the Football League, if this signed and agreed by all terms than this agreement must be put in to place. Secondly what would be the benefits (in all due respect to NTFC fans) of moving to Northampton, they already have a club in there City, there City is smaller in population and has less business attraction.

They won't be gone, but everyone has to stop thinking they will because it's the big bad SISU.

Yeah but at some point in the future ACL will have to do something else with the stadium side of the business and that might be something which precludes us going back and playing there. Now if as many think is likely the White Elephant stadium doesn't happen where do we go then?

Initially no - their move to Selhurst Park was always seen as temporary, but their move to MK was permanent. Their unscrupulous and opportunistic chairman saw the chance to move the club to a large urban area with no professional football team and build the club into something bigger (which to a certain extent he has achieved I suppose).

I just wonder where this large town is with no football team that SISU plan to move us to, a place big enough to provide them with a fan base large enough to sustain a club that can rise through the divisions in order that they can get the return on their investment they so desperately want. I mean, where is it? Because if you are going to make the Wimbledon comparison you have to tell us where that place is, because it sure as hell isn't Northampton.

It is feasible that the club could wither and die if the move lasts more than one season - and for that reason I am desperate for it to not happen, but those that declare with absolute certainty that the club will NEVER return are just being hysterical.

It's not just the new stadium I think eventually someone could lose there stance on negotiations regarding the Arena and my bet would be on ACL.

Happy? No. are they going to lose sleep over it? no chance

If it is ins SISU's interest they will move or liquidate the club if it means they get money from it.

No but still believe in Santa Claus. Joking aside a lot of peoples opinions are based on the fact they don't trust SISU or because they hate SISU so much they can't see anything concrete in what they say, now I don't like SISU, but it has to be said there is a contractual agreement now between two parties which more concrete then personal feelings in all respect.
