I would look at putting Rudoni wide left (with license to roam) and bring back Jamie Allen into CM, then decide on Wright or Simms for the CF role. Sure WBA will target our left side if it's Dasilva & Wright again.

Its ridiculous the narrative now is Wright needs to suddenly adapt to being Ashley Cole as our actual left back cannot defend adequately

We should line up as we did last
Night as long as all fit.
Wright will likely play better at home as he often does and hopefully Saka will be a bit more positive. Simms is clumsy but a handful for any defence.
Not much else to change unless Sheaf is struggling.

Even if Wright was a great defender always chasing back, we'd have still conceded that goal last night. It's a red herring.

Would people consider Paterson any better than Wright down the left? I am not sure if he would get back to help JDS any better than Wright or not?

Without sounding too tinpot, it would be nice if people brought their scarves and flags WLADITT.

spot on, why change it, shame we haven’t got another left winger( always thought Bassette might be able to play there ) wright always looks a bit lost on the left, and we“ll miss him down the middle, whatever team he puts out with that atmosphere they’ll be right up for it

Probably going to be the tensest home game for a while.

We’re still days out and I feel nervous.

Got to hope the inevitable nervousness and tension in the stands translates to a good atmosphere backing the players, as they’re going to be feeling it too.

Put a scarf in people's hands and they won't clap.

Afternoon Pete,

We are working on this and numbers will be increased for Friday, but further work is needed to get the numbers we want to ensure the safety team at the Arena are comfortable with the approach.

Friday is very busy which is great.

Thanks
John

It gets interesting if we lose to WBA and Middlesbrough and Millwall both win because, in that event, we are all on 63 points.

We would probably be third in that group on goal difference but could be fourth if Millwall have a good win and/or we have a bad defeat. Bristol will be on 64, 65 or 67 depending on their result against Sunderland.

It could be a good thing that our last game is against Middlesbrough because it is possible that we need a win and for them to lose. The best way of achieving that is with us playing them because both results are in our hands.

It’s nothing if not exciting!

tell him to sit the safety knob down and make them watch united vs liverpool or spurs vs arsenal where there's a small fence and a row of stewards only between the fans

anyone know that the SAG peoples experience with professional football is as they seem to have a very different view to their counterparts at much bigger clubs

here's the "gap" at a united vs leeds game who are 2 sets of supporters who genuinely hate each other

Am I right in thinking West Brom have drawn 3 and lost 3 of their last 6 away games
They must have been playing Real Madrid and Barcelona
They must be shitting themselves

it would be a good question to ask, why do our SAG see us as more dangerous than the SAGs at united or liverpool for example?

Just fence off "c**t block" and let anyone in that genuinely wants a fight then leave them to it. Everyone else can enjoy the match then.

We are conflating two things here
Balcony bar safety is not about opposing fans
Block 5 is
I ask most times but it’s between getting a picture with Doug and telling him how great he is and asking about badges for the Welsh group or dress in corporate

Almost put block 9 but wasn’t sure yep

We do have a large number of ejections and arrests

I don’t know why people can’t just behave normally then we could use every seat
Over 31000 is brilliant though

Has there been any significant trouble all season home and away? Genuinely struggling to think of anything.

The SAG have always pushed the argument that our fans cannot behave despite statistics showing us low on arrests and banning orders

The balcony bar is a non goer, we can not fill all the seats as the current safe capacity of the lounges is smaller than the seating capacity, you can't just sell tickets to those seats with no food or drink as peole still have to go through the loungers and will need to use teh toilets etc

It's just laziness on their part. Easier just to put draconian measures in place than actually work at managing the matchday crowd.

It's counter productive as larger gaps between wants empower arseholes to be arseholes with a much reduced fear of being smacked in the mouth.

If the person you are calling a c**t and a nonce is a only a couple of feet away you are less likely to act the twat

There’s something dodgy about people who wear scarves when it’s not even cold, so leave them at home.
