I don't really get it. If he was older sure but at 20 there's so much room for improvement. I think he gets a loan next season depending on the squad, although i also wouldn't be surprised if he moved Simms and BTA on and freshened up the CF options completely.

So so good today, how anyone looks at our defence and doesn’t think Kitching should be starting every week is madness. Shout out to Collins aswell

There’s no comparison. Simms might not be what we need for top six, but is a professional footballer who has shown ability to play at this level. Bassette looks like a competition winner. Tavares looked miles ahead at the same age. Rudoni is only three years older and bossing the game. We’ve got promising young strikers, I don’t see why he’s getting minutes tbh.

Robins freezing out Kitching was stubborn and stupid and ultimately contributed towards him losing his job.
Luckily it worked out, Lampard has been a major coup for us.

We’ve seen glimpses of Simms ability for sure. His stats which I think @stupot07 posted for today suggest he didn’t do as well as you think he did. He was good against Hull.

Bassette also looks like a professional footballer, just a young / naive one. The game changing in WBAs favour at the end wasn’t just due to him replacing Simms, or do you genuinely think it was?

I agree with the fact we have promising young strikers - excited to see if Obikwu comes good. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

No I don’t. I just he he’s embarrassingly off the level and bringing in others who you don’t think are great is just a deflection. I want us to bring in at least one striker in the summer ideally, that’s a whole conversation. But right now I’m just annoyed someone is getting minutes and we paid millions for them when they seem so poor. And saying they’re young is irrelevant. We’ve seen young players before. Even the ones now playing in the National League looked better at this level than Bassette does.

Fantastic performance again

Cant rate any of them lower than an 8, Rudi and DaSilva the stand outs

I have only 1 criticism. We should have made that 3 or 4 nil second half, a golden opportunity to get the GD up for me

I think I’d maybe be a little surprised to see Simms move on tbh. I do think they’ll be looking at loaning out Bassette though and getting in another more experienced CF?

I think both Simms and BTA could be moved on with Bassette out on loan.

He nearly created the winner last week against Hull with a good run down the channel, and a superb pass to Milan.

There are so many things with this post which are ridiculous, but I think I’ll just leave you to it as I’m just going to enjoy the win

Great professional performance today. Nothing spectacular but on the main had them chasing shadows. Still feeling the affects of Stellar at 97p.

Really pleased today, thought we swatted them away with ease

Sheaf back to the Sheaf of old, Rudi a cut above and Dasilva class before he was subbed

That being said, without a doubt the poorest WBA side I’ve ever seen us play, thought they were dire

Distribution was decent, collected a couple of crosses and cleared his lines well. We all know he’s not prime Dida but the bar is so low at the minute a quiet game for him at the minute is exactly what we need

Could've gone in January, had the bid been enough. I've heard he will be moved on if the right bid comes in.

No, but seriously, Collins’ distribution is miles and miles better than Wilson’s, and makes a huge difference in allowing us to play out the back with a back four. Happy he’s put a few solid games together.

Almost like Lampard knows what he's doing. Wilson is a paid mascot now and fair play to him, good work if you can get it.

Got to the happiest guy on here. Can stop pretending West Brom are a good team now and hopefully currently dog walking his father in law around the house.

@TomRad85 did.
Just settling down - thanks mate.
Nerves and subsequently the bog were shredded in the morning.....
Bit of an anti -climax as it was fairly comfortable!

Mind you, the meltdown on the group chat, and the Mrs here has been monumental!

I'm being quite magnanimous and it is winding her up even more!!

This sounds so wrong.

Does he have his own collar and lead? Does his MIL mind?

@TomRad85 - do appreciate your positivity throughout the last few days too!

Mrs was due to come with us (me and the boys) to the training session on Weds .
She's raging and I think, if she doesn't calm down, some of our lads might be in danger! (She's saying she's not coming though!)

Some of here rage at their players and staff has been a sight to behold!!
