Bassette and Rodrigues need to find other clubs. They’re genuinely wasting squad places.

Excellent win. Thought we controlled everything apart from a bit of complacency last 10. If we can just add a degree of ruthlessness we’ll be wiping teams out.

Don't think it was complacency, but when Bassette replaced Simms it wasn't sticking, so kept coming back and putting us under pressure.

Simms had a good game; it's not pretty but he was doing a crucial job up front.

Bassette kept diving in to every challenge. So frustrating.

It wasn’t long ago people were creaming over Millwall’s run against ‘on the beach’ teams. Points on the board is king

Oh FFS when will people learn

Not long ago ppl making personal insults about sheaf for being injured

We were told JDS is a waste of space footballer

and that lati only plays as he is robins favourite and never want to see him on pitch again

Get off their back. Players will shine at different times.

Bassette just over keen to impress - no bad thing. Might be an unpopular view but I don’t think it was sticking with Simms. When he receives the ball it’s a genuine 50:50 as to whether he’ll find a teammate. Having said that I do like our front 3 at the minute

Will probably take him another 20 years to do anything with the ball.

He's shown in the past he has ability, and is very young.

What you shouldn't expect him to do is hold the ball up and have people playing off him. When he replaced Simms, that's what he was trying to do, and it put us under pressure.

You don't get to be a Belgium U21 international and get a full cap if you are proper crap. First season in a different league and a different country, far too early to write him off.

When Bassette receives the ball it’s 70:30 against whether he’ll even touch it.

Ges crap. Can’t dribble. Naive. Can’t pass. Can’t head. Just runs about. Shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team. I’d rather Dausch or Obikwu given minutes tbh.

There are plenty of permitations left but we need a win and a draw next two games and a draw in the final game will be enough against the Boro'. That's assuming Boro' win their next two, which is likely.

Perhaps too early. But I’m overwhelmingly confident that ultimately @shmmeee and I will end up right.

This is well above his level. Tavares did significantly more and that’s a frighteningly sobering fact.

Bassette had 0 football intelligence. Made the wrong decision every time for a team trying to see the game out.

It was. Not necessarily by him controlling the ball, but by him making opponents fight him for it, occupying them, and thus giving us a chance to swarm and win the second ball. Bassette they just took it without fuss and could build.

No idea how it quoted that post.

Was meant to be the one about Bassette and Raphael.

Observations from today :-
- Played well this afternoon - that's 2 good performances on the trot now, at a super important time of the season...perfect timing.
- Though Simms didn't score, i do prefer the wright left and Simms central formation...we've just looked way more dangerous in the last 2 games we've played this way.
- Who is this new left back we have ? It can't be Jay Dasilva can it ? OMG it is, and he's playing like the left back we always wanted and expected him to be - well done and huge credit to you Jay.
- Jack Rudoni...i must admit that i wasn't overwhelmed with his signing. My previous impression was that he was a bit of a show pony and lightweight. I was massively wrong. What a signing this boy has been...assists galore, goals too and a real hard worker. Player of the season by a country mile.
- Grimes and Sheaf - both showed their class today and played really well. Sheaf maybe tired towards the end, and his performance dipped, but the lad is still getting back to match fitness, so no problem there...more game time, more fitness more old skool Sheaf.
- MVE is just class, and on the whole dealt with a very tricky Mikey Johnson quite well. Has played all 43 league games this season (per sky), which is frankly phenomenal. If he's still here next season, i will be surprised, and delighted. If he does go, then i'd expect a very large fee in return.
- Kitching and Lati - solid if not spectacular, but that's great, as Thomas hopefully will be back soon.
- Collins - Again solid, and a second clean sheet in 3...would have been 3 clean sheets but for the deflected Hull goal. Keep it up Brad.
- Sakamoto - again a solid game from Tats, and you can always guarantee that he'll work his ass off for the team on the wing, or running back towards goal.

Simms did well today I felt.

Glad Collins got clean sheet. His kicking is really v good at times. However still doesn't fill me with confidence in terms of commanding area or rushing out to sweep

He's not gonna win us the playoffs like perhaps dovin could have but hopefully he can give us a fighting chance

Fantastic performance and result. Another game chalked off, that’s all we can do. It’s a shame Boro snatched a win but I expected them to win that anyway.

it doesn’t matter what the others do as long as we win. As much as Plymouth and Luton are scraping, they are down there for a reason. If we perform, we get something
