Last ten or so were a bit hairier than they should have been after Simms went off, but that was as straightforward a win as you will see, really.

Some of the desire to win the ball back from them and keep the pressure on was exceptional.

After Styles got sent off, we were so in control I think that was one of the most dominant periods from a city side I can remember.

Won't need Rooney, Plymouth have had the stuffing knocked out of them after conceding that last minute goal, and it's a long depressing drive back to Plymouth from Middlesbrough when you've just seen a vital point snatched away like that.

It was dreamland at halftime but Bristol and Boro came back.

More annoyed about Boro as that would have kept them at arms length.

Brizzle will end up with 70 or 71 I reckon. Loss to leeds, win at PNE. Luton is the more difficult one to call. Borough looks like 69 points when they come to us on the last day. Plymouth win puts Coventry in the box seat headed to Luton, like with Brizzle that's a tough one to call. So great result today but we really need to match Borough's result vs Plymouth, it's just relentless this season and that Borough game is going to be epic, winner takes all, but hopefully a draw good enough for Coventry. 5 points rather than 7 needed I reckon. Betting markets still have us finishing 6th with 69 points bizarrely enough.

Think we'll murder Boro at home. Poor team who I'm surprised are still sniffing around. Just a shame they play Wednesday and Norwich, neither of whom look like they give a fuck anymore.
