Hope we can somehow get wright playing down the middle tomorrow, they have 2 big centre halves but they‘ll struggle against a bit of pace, wells gave them all sorts of problems for Bristol, they’ll quite easily keep simms quiet, But think we’ll start with wright on the left, haven’t really got another option, apart From Patterson, that’ll be the change again if it’s not working,

Not looking forward to Lati up against grant- gave Lati torrid time at their place with his directness and pace. Come on city, take the game to them! #PUSB

1 away win since September is decent?

Won their 1st 3 then absolute garbage since. 1 away win since September is relegation form. You would have been calling a taxi for the manager ages ago if it was us.

They have 2 less points away from home than us

Tweet after tweet from them;
Our last 10 wins Vs Coventry.
All we can put out is Viks penalty winner from a couple of years ago.

Come on City!!!

if we can't raise our game tomorrow, then we'd struggle in the playoffs anyway.
we have to go for it, and put them under serious pressure.

We’re going to lose tomorrow. If I keep saying that, I’ll convince myself it won’t hurt as much if it happens!!

don‘t think we’ll have a problem tomorrow being up for it, remember the old days when we always bottled it in front of big crowds at home, now I reckon it’s the difference, they‘ll all raise their game tomorrow, crowd will make sure of that

Hull draw makes this a must win vs a bastard team that always seem to beat us

Been poor since his shoulder injury. West Broms left sided plyer destroyed us a couple of times recently.

So let's start again.

They got 9 points from their first 3 away games of the season. Since then they have won only 1 away game for the rest of the season which was in November. That's 1 away win in their last 19 away games.

How would you like to try and spin that?

Wasn't it Waghorn? I only know because he scored so few goals for us I can remember them all

Edited - my mistake, I'm thinking of the penalty and win Vs Sheffield United

Not sure it’s a must win, must not lose, 7 points should do it, possibly 6. I’m going for 2 wins and 2 draws at least, remember we were all nervous about Sunderland and they’re much better than West Brom It’ll be a cracking day and the 3 points will make it even better

How does it compare since Lampard/Mowbray took over? What we did under MR and WBA under Corberan is pretty irrelevant now.

Since the start of January, we’ve picked up 14 points away. In the same time, they’ve picked up 4. When people say form, it’s normally pointing at a temporary setting. This gives you a good idea of what they mean.

Looks 5 yards out of position. There is only one active threat which is the bloke behind him. Gives a massive landing area for the pass over his head and he can’t get back. If their CM had advanced and was threatening then he’s ok, but as it is he’s caught ball watching and not thinking about where he is until it’s too late. It’s his weakness, and cost us. Shame, because up until then he’d had a good game

he's really not, if he's 5 yards further out they just run through the now massive gap between him and kitching

And we didn't outplay them and get a draw with their GK getting MOTM.

I suppose we deserved nothing from that game.

I'm shitting it for this one.

They always seem to smash it when it matters and this game really matters.

Win tonight and we're 6 points ahead of them with 3 left, all but rules them out of the equation.

If Plymouth or Blackburn can do us a favour too it would be a very profitable evening.

We are in a pretty good position today, because we know a draw guarantees we remain in the top 6 going into Monday.

It's not a must win. Just a must not lose and that's a much better scenario to be in than those around us

But there is no they to do that as they are all on the right. The CM is looking for a square pass and the only threat is the guy behind Da Silva. He can be 5 yards closer to his man and still cover the centre, but he’s ball watching and has little idea where his man is…

and he’ll be caught doing the exact same thing today, looks like it’s how they’re coached to defend now, all zonal, but surely sometimes just man mark, especially the last 10 mins away from home with a 1-0 lead, that’s the problem playing our high line,,if we sat a bit deeper theres no room behind Da silva to play that ball, so frustrating to watch every week, the amount of goals we’ve conceded down our left, like that photo even bidwell does it

thats spot on, draw keeps everyone below us and then 2 games against teams in the bottom 2,i know they’ll be fighting for their lives but you couldn’t ask for better games and it’s in our hands, we’ll do it, just would love the 3 points today
