We're not going to smash teams off the pitch all of the time. A bit of complacency set in, that's all. We still won comfortably in the end and we're 4pts clear, still unbeaten. Cheer up pal.Its all well and good having poor games, but to be completely outplayed for 45 mins by 10 men, at home, and pick up 3 yellows, a suspension and gift a daft penalty. Thats not having a "poor game". Thats just piss poor game management. Thankfully we were clinical when it mattered.

In the first half, certainly.
Deffo missed Torp and although Allen did quite well we definitely needed some steel in there. Eccles should have come in to do that but ended up playing at the top of the mid triangle. Surely against 10 men Eccles goes deep with Grimes and Allen forward, no?It all stemmed from being too light in the middle I think.
Why give them the chance?Because we were 3-0 up FFS!
They had to work extremely hard to a 3-1 loss. We barely broke sweat.
We could have scored 4/5 if Mason-Clark and Milan had composure in the first half.

Sheff Utd are shit, not really worried about them.As stupid as MVEs booking was, I also think it could be a blessing in disguise. Would rather him miss Wrexham, than play and get booked and miss the blunts. Glass half full look at it maybe?

The reason Watford didn't scored those goals is because we have a very decent goalkeeper.

It feels a bit like last year's run of 9 out of 10. Some of those games we could easily have lost and we didn't play well in all of them. Sometimes it just goes like that.How can you feel so flat and deflated after winning 3-1? Because thats exactly how that feels!

BTA in that 8/10 role pressing and intercepting is one of the main reasons for our form.Eccles and Allen aren’t top level championship midfielders really are they? That said BTA looked less like a striker playing 10 and more like a 10 today.
Really need reinforcements in Jan. Out wide too because again EMC had a nothing game. He needs a spell out the team IMO.

Just read the last few pages. Surprised by such negativity (or am I?!). 2nd half wasn't great but we've had 3 games in a week, taken 9 points all despite not playing amazing.
It's fine to have bad performances now and then.
