We look like we are playing a team from several leagues below, not necessarily because they are shit (debatable), but because we are so good.

Not sure why they are arguing about the red either, it was clear as day.

Bizarre first half. We’re far too open - Lampard having to drag MVE back down the pitch. Rushworth to the rescue. But going forward we look excellent

Thomas with a poor header that would have been out for a corner but the ref blows the whistle.

Extremely odd half. It could arguably be 3-3. But 3 clinical finishes, a red card thats came from poor defending.

Watford I feel will be OK this season if the manager can sort out the defending.

Now against 10 men it would be good to see Andrews, Brau and Shepherd for his debut.

Take that. Don’t think we’ve been particularly great. They’ve had some balls bypassing our midfield and our defence all over the shop at times. Rushworth been critical with those saves. But here we are 3-0 up!

Strange half, that. Anyone looking at that score would think it's been comfortable. They've been a bit like us in seasons past with some of the chances they haven't taken, although you can thank a combination of Rushworth and Kitching for that.

Hope we don't come out second half thinking it's job done.

If we are gonna push our full backs up and then drop Grimes in between the CB’s then maybe don’t let him take corners today. Where we’ve been short at the back is often when they turned around over our set piece quickly and he’s scrambling to get back.

Weird game. 3-0 up and our keeper was player of the half. Some brilliant saves. So pleased for Jamie Allen!
Maybe some minutes for Shepherd at this rate.

As alarming it is that Watford had so many chances we dealt with them well. When Bobby slipped Kitch covered, Rushworth is so positive closing angles. Obviously if we were playing someone better it may have been punished but I doubt we'd be so open in the first place

Bloody hell! That was very strange.

From about the 15th minute, and the one that wasn't given, we were so open. Rushworth has been brilliant, and on the one occasion that he wasn't, Kitching was.

This is what I find with Thomas. He often has great games, or games where he has a few errors.

Kitching, whilst not as headline grabbing, usually has at least a 7/10 every week.

EMC was offside. Haji wasnt, but the ball to EMC he was JUST offside. Not much in it but correct decision by the lino in fairness.
