Looking forward to this one. Watford had a really good season so far.

Thought the game we played earlier in the season was absolutely mental. They seem like an exciting and chaotic team this year but they’re doing well from it.

5-5 draw.

Watfrords away form hasn't been great recently.

3 points from this one for us will mean 9/9 against top 10 teams, last 3 games.

That'll be enough to get me more excited for the run in and a play off charge.

Fixtures are falling nicely for us at the moment. Another team having a good season but going through a rocky patch of form.

Thomas for Binks for me.

Our home form has improved. lets be optimistic and say we will keep a clean sheet and win again

They're struggling as of late. 5 losses and a win in the past 6 games. Not much for better reading over the past 10 either.

They suffered a few injuries in their last game which will hopefully help.

Louza, Baah and Ebosele should all be out.

Watford always have a load of random foreign players i know nothing about and at least a couple of them end up being really good. Never really know what to expect from Watford really.
Really like Chakvetadze when i've seen him.

A win surely, if narrow and hard fought. Same team - please avoid the temptation to play Da Silva rather than Bidwell. Thomas for Binks maybe, the folks who made the trip to Ewood park can say who performed best.

Watched the highlights of their game last night and they were quite vulnerable to balls over the top and crosses into the box which are two things we try quite often. Decent chances of a result

Watford seem to be in a bit of disarray. Fans calling for reinforcements before 3 players went off injured last night.

Wonder if we might see a couple of Eccles/Dasilva/Bassette/Thomas come in for some fresh legs what with it being the 3rd game in a week.

If we’ve got Matundo does that change anything?

Almost certainly bench to start with. Tavares relegated back to mascot.

He's barely played since the beginning of September so I'd imagine he'll be on the bench.

FL will probably use the next few weeks to gradually ease him in and get him to understand how he wants him to play.

At least gives us a proper option as he clearly doesn’t trust Rapha to change a game either.

Would be very harsh to go one up front after BTA and Simms start scoring, but I wonder if he wants to get back to 433 asap.

Probably does but don't think it'll happen immediately. At least not as soon as the weekend.

Got a weeks training next week as well then into quite a congested period, plenty of time to give him minutes I’d expect. That week with Leeds Ipswich QPR looks brutal.

Would be tempted to start with the xi that finished last night , apart from Simms in for Bassette .
Would be a 5-4-1

Dovin
MvE
Lati
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell
Sakamoto
Eccles
Allen
Rudoni
Simms

Last night showed we have options off the bench .
Who would've thought early in the season that all of Sakamoto,Eccles and Thomas wouldn't start?

Note all those panic stricken bedwetters who desperately posted during the first half struggles against both Bristol and Blackburn.

Both teams are / were above us in the league table and yet for all the backs to the wall stuff, we got two clean sheets. Watford may be on a poor run but are a very good side. There will be periods, sometimes quite long ones when they will be on top, get used to it.......

This group of defenders is exactly the same group that was conceding 2 a game not that long ago but have made real progress.

Credit to Lampard where it’s due. Two massive back-to-back wins. Another win against Watford and we’re back in the conversation for playoffs.

3-1 win to continue the run.
Thomas-Asante and Simms both subbed off last night and so expect them to probably be starting again
