Anyone planning on going? Do you know what block people will sit in for these games? The attendance will likely be ~1k so want to make sure I'm sitting with some people.

What is the fine for not adhering to the rules? I don't think it's actually too bad is it?

It's ridiculous though, they put the Premier League U21 teams in to give the young players a chance to play competitive football, yet when EFL clubs want to play their kids in the same competition they get fined!! Utterly ludicrous.

Hate comments like this - what do you know about it? He has got every chance of recovering from this injury, physically and mentally

We could all have your mentality of writing him off without giving him a chance I guess - players have come back from far worse injuries and go on to play at a higher level

I really want to qualify and get as far in this competition as we can - we absolutely can win it again. We have a big squad for L1, so we can cope with extra games.

I’d go:

Wilson

Watson Williams McFadzean McCallum

Westbrooke Eccles Walsh

Jobello Biamou Bapaga

McCallum needs game time, even if he comes off at 60 minutes.
I’d give Walsh game time ahead of Saturday.
Jobello needs a confidence boost and game time to help everyone (including him) work our what his strengths and style are.
McFadzean to be the leader in an inexperienced team.

I’d also like to see Ngandu and Burroughs at some point.

Just what exactly is the "Leasing.com Trophy" anyway?

The new sponsor for the previously named Checkatrade Trophy.

Would think Walsall would bring a few, as it's so close, and they don't get to play at that ground very often. Wouldn't be surprised if there were more of them than us. Crowd 1798.

The fine is £5k and the rules have changed now so we can play most of our kids and reserve players

I'd rest O'Hare (or only give him half a game). Thought I'd read Walsh wasn't available for tonight, but I've got so much wrong on here lately I'm probably wrong!!

We'll easily be able to comply with the rules by playing fringe players and young prospects
It's a great chance for players to show the manager what they can do

Yes. A few are. Get yourself up there, then you can look smugly at those scampering for final tickets. Plus a guaranteed Max goal tonight!

Personally wouldn't be starting anyone we are hoping to start on Saturday... The fact we've played 8 games already is ridiculous, get some rest in legs and give a chance for those just out team to get some game time.

Would be good to keep our little Stans run going though, but this is a bad Walsall team, even if they dont make changes...

I must admit I find the use of Ifollow in the UK frustrating. Get up there and support the lads.

Impractical for many non-Midlands based fans (such as myself) and the iFollow money still goes to the club. It's a great alternative option to show support

Of course and I appreciate that. I just find it frustrating that some people will choose not to go and watch it in a pub instead.

Walsall will bring at least a couple of hundred. I'm revising my attendance estimate to 877 (due to a sudden epiphany!)
