Anyone for a pitch invasion if we score? Embarrassing display from them last time, we owe them a good hiding.

They have also and still do give us a load of abuse over the fact sisu didnt pay the rent of the Ricoh. They were basically saying we should have been punished and had a point deduction.

We always seem to play them off the park but lose to a lucky or break away goal and their smug fans love to give us some abuse.
Dont know why when they are a small time club next to the m6 motorway. Hardly anything to brag about

Why are they so desperate to be our rivals?

Hopefully last week's win gives us the little kick we needed.
I dont think we have been that far away just need to shoot a bit more sure a couple will go in.
2-0 City win.

Got a soft spot for Walsall cos a friend at uni was a fan. On a bad run at the mo and I'd hope we can take advantage. Any normal team playing the way we have against their form would have us down to give them an absolute hiding but with our shot conversion rate it'll end up being a close scoreline. I'll go 2-0.

Burge will be back between the sticks, other than that I don't think he'll make any changes. Meyler would obviously be looking to get back in but I don't think either Kelly or Bayliss will be dropped (if one was I'd go for Bayliss). Hopefully Baka and Hiwula will be up for it against their old team.

Meyler will play...Shipley will not.

Meyler, Bayliss, Kelly are the key midfielders in MR's ambition for the side.

Shipley came on as a sub last game though didn't he? Meyler will come in for Westbrooke I reckon (possibly Wakefield but he should offer something different attacking wise)

I agree about those three being the key midfielders, but how to fit them in? Play two-up top (as I think we should) there's no space for all of them.
Go 4-2-3-1 and you've got Kelly and Meyler as the 2 - Bayliss needs to be a bit further up the field to be effective. But Bright is more effective in the middle of the three and Bayliss seems to go off the boil played further out wide IMO.

Walsall currently losing at home to Wimbledon, if they lose can see Keates being sacked before the weekend.

I think the Walsall forum is on meltdown, tried to have a nose and says too many requests.

Really think we will spank this lot Saturday. We owe Walsall big time. Final nail in their managers reign? Let's hope so...

Fingers crossed, let's hammer them and then get him sacked. We don't want the new manager bounce against us.

I want somebody to be on at bakayoko telling him their centre half is going to knock him out and bully him.

Want to see him fired up against them to do a bit.

I can remember when we used to play, the manager used to put out all sorts of shouts starting about Tuesday. "I've just heard their main man is trying to shag your sister". "Careful mate, their centre half has been saying he's going to smash you if he sees you out in town". "I've just heard him say the next tackle he's doing you"

To be fair, everybody was always fired up so it worked. Did usually end up with a two footer in the first minute but that didn't ever harm anyone.

I can't work out if you're parodying yourself anymore or this is genuine.

not only because I live in Walsall but I'm hoping we thrash them 4/5 nil, its got to happen at some point this season, we create enough chances.

Read their forum and they are convinced they are going down and are slating Keates and the club.
They are also crowing the fact that they managed to get a fee for Baka as they think hes garbage.

I would love it to see him score against em and put the nail in their coffin

Yes I read that, saying getting a fee for Baka is the best thing Keates has done.

Well we definitely owe them one if only for the fact that they sold us Kyle Lightbourne!

2-0 to us.

Only 500 tickets purchased by Walsall fans for the M6 El Classico, disgraceful.

You'd need to be a grade A simpleton to let a football manger wind you up with that sort of nonsense!

Would be great, But I'd take 3 shots on target from him.. But with any luck he will come good Saturday. And rub their noses in it.

Yes I think I was dreaming when I wrote hat trick but you never know and it will all click sometime for the forward line.

We wouldn't have beaten Chelsea 3-2 in the famous opening day victory if it wasn't for him so I'm eternally grateful.

I'd take 3 shots on target from all our forwards combined.
