One shot, (and that from a penalty), has become the norm when Kelly and Doyle are together in CM. A draw at home will not be good enough, so I'd revert to Bayliss and Doyle for this one. That'd be harsh on Kelly, who had a decent game against Wycombe. Given that we don't have a decent RM, would it make sense to try Kelly on the right? I expect Robins will name an unchanged team and we will therefore struggle to score.

Kelly is perfectly capable of playing higher up the pitch, if he's allowed. For me, the first 10 minutes at Mansfield is as good as we've started a game as a team this season.

Don't be surprised if Bayliss starts alongside Doyle and Kelly moves into a different position
Doyler likes Bayliss alongside him and he may have some input as Robins values his opinion

Might order some later, I'm usually warm enough everywhere apart from knee caps from sitting down and the wind being on them.

I have knee problems, not severe but aching, so if I am walking a lot or going to football I put elastic tubular strapping on.
They are excellent for keeping your knees warm when sitting at football

Really hoping the game is on - seems an age since we've been at Ricoh...

Surely weather in Lincoln has no effect on whether game is on - Coventry is getting away quite lightly so far so should be ok. It'll be a shame if some of the 4k imps can't make it but doubt they'd make the Tuesday re-arranged date anyway!

Why do they?

Can't they just forfeit the match?

Winners all round. We get the 3 points, they get to stay in the warm all nice and snug.

Not sure what Mike Dean, but he's being punished for something

Got a good feeling that this will be the Kyel Reid show, and he is going to rip Lincoln apart.

A decent ref to assist Doyle will be good for us, against a physical side.

I do agree with ISSS and am a bit worried that Mike Dean will want to play the Uriah Rennie role.

However the only way is forwards so 5-0 City, Vincenti for Bayliss only because he needs a break. Haynes and Shipley on the left with Reid to come on in the second half when its a bit warmer for him.

Hyam to keep his place.

Two pairs of socks for me.

Not a chance in hell Hyam will keep his place. Willis will walk back into the side, unless theres an injury.

He rips it up one in 10 games. HEs worth a punt as an impact substitute like at Wycombe.

Lincoln are big and physical team, we need the flair but we also need to match it up!

Interesting listening to Cowley.

He thinks in his opinion 3 best teams in league squad wise are Luton, Mansfield and Cov.

Also shares his opinions about Evans /Flitcroft.

I'm pretty sure Clive Eakin said that Shipley came off against Wycombe because he was injured, unless he got it wrong?

Yeah, unchanged for me. Reid to come on if still 0-0 at 60 minutes to add a bit more.

Not been that far, but have been to the roundabout further down towards Foleshill Road and Holbrooks and it's not bad at all.

Theres snow predicted this afternoon.

I think the main concern will be getting the lincoln supporters from lincoln to Coventry safely, not sure if the authorities at both clubs will look at it in tgat much depth. Lincoln and those parts do seem to be hit very hard.

Wish everyone safe travels for tommorow and no doubt lots will start their weekend away tonight.

Roads are fine, if anything they are better because people are staying at home so there's less about.

Would think their team will attempt travel today. we're supposed to get 6-7 hrs of snow overnight but likely only a few Cms.

Would have thought they would just come down today as well, give them plenty of time. Hopefully it will take them 28 hours to get here with no food or water though

Not to be harsh, just to give us a bit of an advantage tommorow!

Lincoln have/are liaising with both CCFC and EFL and the game is on at present. Main roads are good, it is just getting to them!!Fresh snowfall has stopped since Wednesday, but due some tonight. I think everyone is keen to keep it going for Saturday. I think we are in great form and really want it to go ahead now. We are just building momentum, lincoln are struggling but Cowley is a good manager so will not be easy. Still think we can win by 2. An early goal for us will silence them and turn the fans against each other, lot of squabbling especially regarding “plastic bandwagon fans” sound familiar ? Lol

Don't know why apart from my gut but If most of our competitors are postponed I'd rather we were as well, always think psychologically those who play following anothers confirmed result gain an edge.
Don't know If that stacks up statistically just my take.

Would be interesting to see. I'm the kind of person that would much rather play, especially at thispoint in the season, motivated by putting a marker down for all the other teams and making them feel the pressure of knowing they have to win to match us.
