Definitely think the Eccles Sakamoto Da Silva and Binks should be given a run for rotation

hopefully EMC can get half an hour

They'll never get it

Football fans vastly overestimate the rate at which chances get converted. Your average 1v1 gets scored like 1/3 of the time.

They should have had more than 2 without a shadow of a doubt.

Against teams like Leeds do we need to braver if we are playing 3 at the back? The wingbacks picked up their wingers leaving no one to track their full backs who could wander forward at will. Do the wide cbs need to take more responsibility for the wingers and allow the wingbacks to pick up the fullbacks?

Yeah, definitely need to be braver. We were put on the back foot early on though after the Simms mistake. May have played out differently if not for that.

Of course. But there's a lot of numbers between 2 and 9

I don’t think we could have argued against it being 5 to be honest.

although we very well could have scored at least 1

Yes, and probably get beat comfortably but I'd worry about the QPR game if we're running these players into the ground.

Didn’t manage to make it tonight. What was atmosphere like? Sounds like they knocked the stuffing out of us pretty quickly.

Not bothered about xG mate.

I clearly saw 6-9 great chances Leeds should've scored but didn't.

Anecdotally, many on the forum agree.

Anyway, I'm off to bed.

Simms assisted their first and Dovin fumbled their 2nd. If Simms header goes in then it might have been a different scenario but in saying that, Leeds deserved winners by a country mile.

We were miles off it tonight, looked scared and couldn’t keep hold of the ball. We move on
Agree with all of that and in fairness as to Dovin their right back shouldn’t have beat 5 players to get in the box. Dovin stopped that from being a mauling too..
They are a class side in this league offloading £135mil worth of players and still top.
Odds on they will come back down but that’s the league now, we need to think about play offs as automatics is a dream for clubs with our budget.

Men against boys tonight, struggle to find any positives apart from Dovin’s 2nd half performance. If Farke doesn’t take those up automatically he should never manage again. We Need to dust ourselves down, rest a few legs for Saturday and get after QPR next week

They had chances for sure

What was our xg? 2 chances extremely close to a goal and saka looked inches away from a goal too.

Milan needs a rest too but no one really to put in.

they’ll rotate I imagine

start with a changed side and if we’re in it around 20 to go change it up bring on some big boys

Going to have to. QPR are going to be well rested before our game. They have no game at the weekend.

The race for 5th and 6th is a weird thing isn't it, because everyone puts so much on it but realistically the 2 teams that get the spots will probably do fuck all anyway. Other than the fact we always beat Blunderland I suppose.

It was so disappointing considering the noise on Saturday at Swansea and the way people were making out like it was going to be a cauldron.

Thought the second half was better but Dovin stopped the score becoming silly.

I think as annoying as the first half was, we draw a line and move on. Think most would of accepted a 2-0 loss going into the match.

Boro having playoffs secured for so long actually turned out to be a disadvantage for them against us. If you secure it late on you do have a bit of momentum.
