He was, it was schoolboy stuff second half we got done with a ball in behind at least half a dozen times. It was almost at will.

Stopped trying?

They could've scored 4 or 5 in the 2nd half!

We were just 'less shit'.

Yeah they were happy to pick us off on the break but they knew the game was won as soon as it was 2-0.

I bet we don’t give Ipswich that much respect ironically.

But equally Premier League Ipswich won't be at the level Leeds were tonight.

I don't want to see 3 x CBs again. Too passive.

There was so much wrong with that goal before it reached Dovin. Not exonerating him but it definitely wasn't all him. Showed character the way he recovered.

It bounced up unexpectedly. He has to do better but not the absolute clanger it looked at first. Kept at least 3 out after that too. More good than bad.

He wasn’t badly exposed, but it shows what Derby fans were talking about when they said matches can be end to end and like a gunslinging match

We were unlucky not to score from Simms header, and maybe the one at the corner at the end. They could obviously have had more too.

So one chance from open play. We showed they’re not invincible but refused to challenge them or run at them or do anything but hit and hope then sit back in shape.

We just generally need to have more self belief against the better sides in the league. Lose sure, but make them work for it and avoid making simple errors

Yeah, he should've put 10 men behind the ball.

We got some things wrong tonight undoubtedly but our season isn't defined by games vs Leeds. They are absolutely levels above us & an unbelievable side at this level.

Simms at fault for the first & obviously Dovin for the second but I thought they were both excellent apart from that.

And not act like we are playing Messi. Mve was acting like he was against his heroes for most of that game.

To be honest that Simms save was such a pivotal moment

2-1 and crowd gets up

There was more than one chance from open play, that was just the closest. Leeds defended brilliantly, we could've created more. Bit of both.

It was always going to be a tough game, so not overly disheartened. With the players we’ve got coming back from injury, there’s plenty to look forward to.

not complaining though, particularly if it allows us to play an extra midfielder / forward in place of a 3rd centre back

We were 2-0 down in 25 mins via two errors. We had to chase the game, if it had gone 3-0 he probably would have tried to shut up shop.

Regardless even with both sides at full strength Leeds are miles better than us, and we’re far from full strength.

Just think we see this time and again with supposed better sides: sit off scared and make them look like prime Brazil, actually get in their faces like they’re human and suddenly they are.

Strangely I thought they had more firepower last season and we didn't lose against them. This season we have been totally outclasssed.

We've been beaten by a very good team for this league. The weakest links in the side were exposed and I expect will be addressed over the summer. We have some quality experienced players to come back into the side which will make a big difference. Learn from it and move on.

I did wonder why we stayed with such a high line considering they got in behind us 38 times .. but hopefully it's a case of we live and learn

Always going to be a risk when you chase. Rather we did that than sit back and limit damage. Still didn't really create enough but second half was better.

Rob Gurney still going on about Allen starting and Grimes not coming on sooner like a p*ssed-up fan at the pub. Oggy trying to be professional and talk him down. Embarrassing stuff.

Disappointed with that today. We just looked scared of Leeds from the get go and it led focus gifting them 2 really shit goals.

They looked very good and I doubt we will play a better team this season but we still had to back ourselves to give it a good go and we simply didn't . The passing was atrocious

Mve
Lati
Allen
Bidwell

We're all so poor

Tbf to Simms I thought his all round game was good after he fucked the opener. Same for dovin

Best player by a mile was rudoni. Put eveything in and let down by teammates.

Grimes looked more than capable in his cameo

A bad result but I expect us to bounce back.

I said 2 wins from 3 keeps season very exciting and I stand by that. Whatever rhaooens on Saturday we are in playoff hunt and if we beat Ipswich we have a cup run to be excited about too

On to the next one

PUSB!
