Agreed, you wouldn't have thought he'd been sat on the bench all day playing against defenders who'd run around in the heat, he just doesn't have the presence that he should

Hyam MoM for me. Looked rusty against Exeter but back to his consistent best. Dealt well with a direct Gillingham, lead a very young back 4 and grabbed the winner.

Wycombe late winner against Southend pushes us to 5th. Dropped 2 place!

Very happy with that especially even how much Tuesday would have taken out of us.

Hyam is a young lad himself as well but agreed back to his Trevor Peake esque self

People who analyse the league table in August are very suspect individuals.

No idea, it’s a decent win. Unless you’ve started to believe the hyperbole on this forum and think we should be smashing everyone 5-0?

Sloppy second half but I genuinely think they are shattered, Alot of games played and 4 or 5 players out still effecting rotation.

However.... 6 points better off than after 5 games last season PUSB.

A WINS A WIN

Can’t be to do with the result

Cause it was another game we played not at home and despite the recent results and it being a bank holiday weekend and nice weather, clearly we have lost a lot of fans who won’t go to Birmingham ?

The football club doesn’t have a stadium, what do you expect?

Guilty as charged but when in the last 10 seasons have we been joint top on points after 5 games?

As you’d expect I think - fast, really keen, put himself about a bit, chased everything down, if anything looked a little too excited. Looks like he has lots of ability though and I’m looking forward to seeing him get a whole game!

Great result. Players clearly tired after Tuesday so second half was all about seeing it out.

Also it seems that Steve Evans' circumference has increased by 20% on the last time I saw him. If he falls off a wall he's fucked

great to see so many youngsters do well. Delighted with the win and onwards. Can’t help think we will do better than some who predicted mid table with this squad.

The second half we sat back too deep allowing Gillingham to come and have a go. Our free flowing game disappeared. The changes introduced did nothing for us in particular Bakayako. I hope the second half lethargy was down to Tuesday night. Can't wait for Allen to be fit as I think he is a key player. There were heavy legs out there. But 3 points, clean sheet when not performing too well is a great sign.

Good news grabbed an uber and made it before kick off!

Glad to get the win, but thought we were pretty poor today once Gillingam made the sub and changed their system. Some nice football at times, but didnt create enough and were under the kosh in the second half.

We would have lost this (or at least not won) in previous years. Despite the increased pressure in 2nd half, we never looked in trouble. Another happy sat night !

While I don't want a battering I wouldn't mind us bowing out on Tuesday just to give some respite.

We 100% will not struggle like some suggested.

Will be pushing at the correct end of the table
