Winning comfortably? It was a pretty even game decided by worldie finish from a half chance.

We were a much better team that finally broke down a very defensive team who at the time were 2nd in the league

Promotion winning levels to be fair.

That's what promotion winning teams do.
Where this idea came from that they blow teams away week in and week out is beyond me.

We started the season in a manner that only a few teams have achieved. We've lost one game all season and are top of the away form chart and 2nd in the home.

That is not, by any definition, the form of play off contenders, thats very much a team going for the autos.

That’s hopefully the reason why performances have dipped yeah. Although it’s not really half is it, it’s one or two other than the Wrexham game.

We were back to full strength minus Rudoni on Saturday and played a very well controlled game. For other games we've had to improvise with BTA out of position, and started with undercooked midfields against Blackburn, Watford and Wrexham.

Expecting us to maintain the xG numbers we were hitting under more ideal squad selection circumstances is unrealistic.

Can't wait to see us lift that underlying stat trophy!
And our stats are fine, we've dropped off from a level that we were never going to maintain.

15 in, top of the league, 1 defeat, 11 clear of the nearest parachute club, can't believe some people aren't happy.

Out of interest what are our stats up to Leicester like when we had Rudoni? Is there any noticeable difference?

My parents want to join me for this match so called up the ticket office today; it's selling very well, in the home end at least!

Up to Leicester: Avg xG 2.0, xGA 0.8

Since Leicester: Avg xG 2.1, xGA 1.1

It’s post Sheff Weds we’ve dropped off, averaged 1.5 xG and 1.3 xGA since then. That was the first game we only started 2 proper midfielders.

We scored in the 86th min lol

First 10 games we were performing like a title winning side. Last 5 have been more like playoff contenders.

League is more competitive this year than it has been for the last 4/5 so the points totals required are likely to be a bit lower, but the level of those first 10 games is what we should be aiming for.

We basically had one chance each but we dominated the game in between.

Well you'd argue that our form has been better since , you claimed we were playing like title winners first 10 .. this is objectively false because we drew 4 of the first 6

We were clinically good but not the exciting kind of game we’re getting used to.

Yeah, which was more pleasing for me in some respects. Obviously it would be great if we could thrash everyone 5-0 but given that’s unlikely, having a team that can adapt and nullify opponents was very satisfying.

Losing Torp has been a real problem for us which has probably gone slightly under appreciated.

He gives us a completely different outlet in attack which you're not going to get from the likes of Allen or Eccles. Equally he just fits better playing with Grimes than Allen, who is vulnerable to being bypassed in a midfield two.

Have we been top since we first got there? We haven’t been knocked off after a full week have we? Or have we?
