Equalled last year's "once in a generation" run of results, need to win at Middlesbro to beat it. I'm quietly confident given our record against them.

Sloppy starts to games and vulnerable on the counter but our 2nd half performances have been so good. Sending off helped lets be honest.

No doubt when we are ‘on it’ we’re the best team in the league by a mile.

Leicester and Stoke fans salty with jealously on their forum citing ‘empty seats’

I mean, Stokes ground always full to the brim isn’t it •rolls eyes• deluded twats

Had this feeling after that absolute twit got sent off, like they’d just brought the pissed off tigers out at the colosseum and it’s only gonna end one way.

Aspects of today we need to work on and cut out.

Simms, Torp and Tatsu had great games.

Simms well done. Was at it from kick off and really involved. Deserved his goal.

One thing that stands out for me is the confidence in the team that we will score, so no ones head drops when we go behind. When it was 0-2 they still kept their heads and kept up the relentless attack. And sure enough we score, and inevitably we would get another. What was impressive was the fact we just continued untill we got the lead and thereafter.
The last ten minutes we began to run out of steam, and the changes disrupted things, but yet again this team actually believes they are good enough and expecting to win, and a win from behind like that just adds to this belief.

Oggy made an interesting point that all the subs gave them a size advantage.

Ryan Mason, to his credit, not whining about the sending off, blames the player for losing his discipline. Unusual that, from a manager.

For all the frustration in the first half you have to sometimes give credit to the opposition. Thought WBA were very tactically astute but we were poor at times also

Great great win, first half hard to watch as Johnstone down WBAs right was causing a lot of problems , and set up both goals, so what I really don’t understand is taking him off at HT.
Just seen their managers reasoning and unbelievably he said I thought I’d take him off to play a left footer there and see if it worked
It was working perfectly well.

another happy Saturday to enjoy

Certainly impressed me there. Can't really picture someone like Chris Wilder behaving like that. Makes a refreshing change.

In fairness, they had us on the back foot for a while there....

I thought EMC had the measure of him. Needed some better deliveries though and the keeper made a great save to stop him scoring.

Loved that we overpowered them as soon as there player sent off. As a team we run and play for each other. When we build that momentum we look unstoppable.
At 2-0 down this was a big test and we came through it. Belief in each other and the coaching staff.
Still think defensively at times we all over the place…both conceded goals today were down to poor positioning after losing the ball.
Some very tough (on paper) games coming up…get through them relatively unscathed and things looking good.

both things can be true though. If you look back at the games where there has been a red card it’s been a bit in the balance.
Not saying we were always losing, but more that we didn’t look as certain as we have in other games.

Birmingham we were winning and well in control. Watford we were playing less well but were 3-0 up.

I think today's the first one where you can look at it and think it had a significant impact on how the game was going. And even here, we looked as if we'd found our stride after a poor first 35 minutes or so.

Just a note on the 2 goals we gave away.
Kitching was caught twice sleeping, and his effort to defend the first one, very poor. he poses no threat up for set pieces (unlike Thomas, who again got the assist for Simms) Time for Wolfy me thinks.

I know, that was thoroughly bizarre.

I can only think that the goal close to half time rattled him. They were worth their lead up until that point, so it seemed really strange to try and change it.
