As we are all dying to talk City during the int break rather than the dross of international football I thought we could discuss the game early. Team, predictions, tactics etc.

same team as Stoke with Rudi on the bench for me. Personally Id give Simms a start instead of Hadji as I think he deserves it. Predicting a 3-1 win and another three points again nearer to the premiership olay, olay

This is going to hit at least 50 pages before the game

I just hope Da Silva, BTA and Wright come back unscathed and Rudoni at least makes the Bench. Full strength we do them straight forwardly.

Simms to start isn't a bad shout. Rudoni back in the squad would be a big lift ahead of what looks like our hardest month or so of the season.

Can't see Haji or Rudi starting, so assuming everyone else is fit I'd go:

Rushworth
MvE Thomas Kitching Dasilva
Torp Grimes
Saka BTA EMC
Simms

S: Wilson, KKH, Bidwell, Woolf, Lats, Eccles, Allen, Rudoni, Wright

I knew Simms had a start somewhere.
I think Wright will drop out on this occasion. May depend on how many minutes he gets for the US

BTA has to go to Japan/South Korea this international break. Think he could struggle with that jet lag so we might see Eccles in the 10

Team depends on when Haji and BTA arrive back from very long trips to USA (I think) and Japan respectively.
Hope I am wrong but will be really surprised if Rudoni is back yet even on the bench.
Other than those issues, and hopefully no injuries, the rest of the team picks itself.

West Brom have 5 players away on international duty. None appear to have long haul flights.

Isaac Price is one of the best in the league for me, but overall West Brom are a very underwhelming team. I think we've been better than them for a few years now but it's a long time since I felt this far clear of them. 2-0 City.

No reason Rudi wont be on the bench, he was back on the grass 10 days ago, and will be resuming full training on Monday

BTA Jetlag could be an issue but cant see him getting many minutes so again he will be available

Dasilva same wont get many minutes so will be available

Haji is the question mark. Im a defender of his but he always comes back from international duty shite. Id start Simms for this

Was anyone in the south stand at half time when we played them last season and they got pepper sprayed?

Seemed every game for a few months away teams got sprayed good times!!!

I'd start Simms as Wright is useless after international games Rudi on the bench as well hopefully. Having him back for the December run of games will be huge.

As long as Wright scores goals we can overlook the other stuff. But if the goals dry up and performances like Stoke carry on it’s less straightforward.

Haji , as most are saying, games & travel will probably be too much for him .Asante hopefully won’t be too jet lagged , but this is all new to him I believe ?
Rudi coming back now ….. what a lift for everyone .
Baggies , poorly supported & unrest over the manager already , so who knows if he will still be in charge, come our game ?
Another 30k crowd & we go marching on
