That Bidwell howler will hurry up the Doyle negotiations you’d think. Tactical from Frank.

Two draws against two top flight teams is pretty decent results and in both we have looked probably the better side at least for decent periods.

Confident that the season will be a good one with a couple more signings to really finish off the squad.

We desperately need a competent striker and bin Simms and BTA. Both not good enough

Nothing to shout about.

We still need to recruit in the same areas we’ve all been discussing.

CBs is more pressing than we realise.

Another friendly when Sheaf comes off we look a bit more fluid.

Good confidence booster for Rapha, Simms and BTA.

Injury to KKH I hope isn’t too serious.

Didnt think it was as good as Wednesday tbh. Most importantly for me is the hope that Grimes and KKH are ok. Glaring needs at CB and CF

First time I’ve seen us this preseason and looks much like last. Defence has a mistake or two in, midfield lacks dynamism and creativity and forwards can’t finish. Hopefully Haji fixes the latter.

Yeah tbh most of the pre season friendlies I’ve ever seen are crazy exciting with loads of drama.

Decent work out, both their goals came from our own howlers, so cut out the errors is the lesson of the day.

BTA worked hard, Torp involved a lot, Grimes does what Grimes does.
Still need a CH and a CF, but keeper looked good (apart from when he nodded off for the goal)

Thought we missed Ruddoni's threat, but all in all a good work out against good opposition.

We definitely need a better centre back.

Just mentioned it in the transfer thread. We are still going to concede soft goals with Thomas / Kitching / Rushworth there.
