Can't see enough in that to say it was handball.

Anyone on here have a much better view to say for certain if it looked like one?

Definite pen for me. There’s not a good frame - here’s the closest. Arms so far away from his body

Definitely two offsides for their first goal, impeding Collins view of the ball, another fucking refereeing cock up!

Yeah

Don't agree with the rule, but his arm is away from his body.

VAR would give that as a pen every time wouldn't they.

That's clear cut.

Behind the goal it clearly struck the player’s arm which was swinging high around head height.

You’d be annoyed it was given against you as the player didn’t really have an intent to do it but he was far enough away from the ball to avoid it and in the prem w VAR it’s a clear penalty every game.

The ref clearly had some communication in his ear before he gave it. The lino didn’t appear to be saying anything.

Sky seem to have introduced software that deliberately blurs any frozen screen. Was it always like that?

It was a penalty , I had a good view. My impression was the officials didn't really know but gave it based on players and crowd reaction.

I couldn't see it from the other end but I did see that near enough everybody at the other end was appealing for it.

Watching that replay, nowadays its a clear pen. We had one given against us yesterday where it was hammered towards somebody's face (cant remember who) and they put their arms up to cover their face and it was handball.

Who needs VAR then, just go on players and crowd?

Neither gave the Haji offside against Man Utd.

It was odd how few of our players seemed to celebrate with Mason-Clark

Surely their player standing in front of Collins was offside for their first goal?

Clear cut unless the ball had gone out of play first. Which VAR would have picked up on.

Not strictly true if the feet are included, the Cardiff players is slightly turned in front of the keeper, foot is I think nearer, but understand that the linesman can miss them.
