Will take place on Saturday 10th August. Kick off 3pm. Venue Ricoh arena. Remember where you heard it first. At the risk of being ridiculed I've heard from a very very reliable source that ACL and SISU are very close to a deal

I'm not lying I promise. Check my previous posts. I'm no wind up merchant. I was speaking to a senior manager of Ricoh arena at a function. I was assured its very close. If it fails to materialise the said person has said I can name him or her publicly!

If they are very close to a deal, does that mean that ACL intend to sign the CVA?

even if it is at the ricoh..SISU still have to go.
Liquidation and the ensuing investigation would have exposed SISU.
Whilst it is good news, if true, that City will be playing at the ricoh; im not sure what the mechanism is that see off SISU.
Are we still in for a protracted death?

Interesting post....Is that why there is no away allocation at Sixfields for this match? Only home seating available to purchase: http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/bristol-city-tickets-now-on-sale-946468.aspx and no ticket details on the Brizzle site.

Not at all. I was at a function with someone who used to work for the football club but was made redundant. They were picked up by the Ricoh to do a job there. No agenda. Just passing on info. I thought all day about whether to. Beginning to wish I hadn't bothered

OK fair enough Ian, thanks for sending this on. I hope your source is on the level, but I envisage he/she has been spun along by SISU. As soon as the CVA has been signed, they'll tell your source to fuck off.

I'll guess if this is true, would it be SISU (i mean PA ) accepting the previous 'free whilst in admin' deal because 'the fans' want us there etc. It's better for SISU if we are. Not sure where this would leave the CVA? Assume it's still a no deal?

Fisher: Look, we give you our word: sign the CVA and we will engage in talks to come back to the arena.
ACL: I dunno...can we trust your word?
Fisher: What choice do you have? You need the club as much as we need you, but we need you to sign the CVA before we can even start to progress to an arrangement. And anyway, as my motto goes, "business should be conducted in good faith, always."
ACL: Hmm...we do need the club..and you absolutely promise that you're serious about moving back if we sign it?
Fisher: On my dog's life, I swear, we'll start talks this week.
ACL: Well we know what that dog means to you...OK (signs). So, when are talks starting about moving back to the Ricoh? We're free tomorrow..
Fisher: Talks? What talks? Suckers!!!!!
ACL: Doh....

If I were ACL I'd only agree to a long-term lease as a condition to signing the CVA... No move to a new stadium at all.

Don't see it happening but I would agree that ACL should only sign the CVA on the basis of a long term lease. The only proviso I would add is that I would hope it would also combine a better deal for the football club based on an agreement that is fair and reasonable to both parties, but I don't see this happening either with SISU and CCC involved.
