Sounds like Joel was at a sleepover and left his jimmy jams in Jamaica

Yeah it's an FA bye law.

At this point it's not even humour, Robins feels the need to play Latibeaudiere without fail when Sheaf is not available.

Unless he's someone else's pick?

Yeah I thought it was weird to take issue with him having cramp.

Who knows, maybe that's why Ady left, he's the spy behind it all?

He had cramp, and if Sheaf doesn't play then he has to (for some reason vice captain has to be on the pitch when Sheaf's not available). Pretty sure he plays unless his leg has fallen off.

He’d become an instant leg end

When you score, you make the city sing, Lati on the wing, Latibeaudiere on the wing.

If Doug was just all about making money tonight, the biggest mistake he’s made it appears is not to just give Spurs the South stand and 2000 more guaranteed ticket sales.
The larger away following can also enhance the atmosphere and bring out more home fans.

There was that JPT round a few years ago we played where the penalties went on forever....think we won it. Possibly even our goalie got involved.

I'm at the stage where im not afraid of anyone in our league, nor am I of Spurs (maybe naively in that case), it all just depends what CCFC turn up... midfield is going to be the weakness, other than that confident we will give them a game.

Going with a 2.1 loss but a decent performance

They took Leicester apart to create multiple chances in the first half the other week but only scored the one goal. We will have to be sharper in defence than at Watford where we gave them way too much time and space.

Wonder if Mark plays the same trick as last week and names three centre backs before moving one to RB or playing a back three.

Think it’s more as a RB, he has to cover the defence more. As a RW or Wingback he has a lot more freedom to move up the pitch where he can influence the play.

He really doesn't.

His best performances have been as a RB when Saka was playing in front of him and they worked well as a team.

If he is playing RW or RWB he is a bit of a straight line runner and can be a bit one dimensional.

I don't see us quite ready to win this if we field a few squad players in the mix and are disjointed all game. Robins will not risk Saturdays fixture for this, but we have a deep squad and Spurs will not field full strength, so its so hard to predict anything. Wright needs minutes, Simms needs minutes, Asante, Mason Clarke all need minutes. Eccles needs a rest. Torp needs minutes. Binks needs minutes, Kitching more minutes. Bassette needs minutes. Pick the bones out of that.

Apparently Postecoglou has said he'll be using the "squad" plus younger players. So unless they change their mind could be heavily rotataed.

Keep seeing people putting Bassette in a CAM type role. Can't see that myself. He's a striker.

BTA most likely, and I've heard that EMC might be able to play there.

Anyway, Latibeaudiere will definitely play unless he's still cramped up.
