I think their defeat yesterday means that we will see a much stronger Spurs team than we may have otherwise.

No, I don't think so as the CBS doesn't have the tech facilities to use it?

You just know we win this 2-1 or something but then fail to beat Swansea, Leeds or Blackburn.

We never beat Swansea anyway.

Well, we almost did last season if Jamal Lowe wasn't a diving little prick.

I'd love the Watford game to be a catalyst for us to go on a little unbeaten run. Robins used to do this, find a 7,8,9 game run, without losing.

On reflection we were very good in first half at Watford, I just knew not taking our chances would result in us letting them back in the game, so predictable.

But I'd take losing to Spurs if we can go on a little run, I'd take 5 or 6 points from next 3 league games at this pint, 7 would be brilliant.

There’s absolute no chance of winning this game when your midfield is Jamie Allen and victor Torp, no chance

I’ll take it not being a cricket score and then hopefully scrape a win against Swansea, which I believe we can do with sheaf back

No obviously not, would shatter his confidence. Especially when he’s got no one good to nurture him through the game

I’d rest Eccles if he’s a doubt and get him ready for the much more important Swansea game

Sometimes you have to just blood them, not ideal I agree but if he's training with the first team squad and has the physique of a man and not a child you have to consider it, the other reason is Robins might have to consider it looking to the Weekend?

Not sure why people think Sheaf coming back will turn us into a winning team. We may be better with him in the team but he's no Hamer or Gyokeres. We need more than Sheaf.

I don’t think we’ll be a winning team, I just think we’ll be a better team with sheaf in it.

as @TomRad85 says, it’s all incredibly frustrating and demoralizing at present

We need way more, recruitment has been not good enough. Overspent and haven’t seen sufficient quality come through the door.

I do believe that they will teach us the lesson United should have. They will want to win and I’d expect them to put out a strong side. Be difficult to watch as no doubt we will rest a few.

3-1 city. Andrews, Dausch and Ponticelli.

I think we have had more quality come through the door. Get the players back and settled after this annoying international break and we we will start to see the team come together imo.

Think Ponticelli is a doubt, with a niggling injury.

Fuck sake. Wish Doug forked out for another striker now. Hillsner through the middle then.

We never had hamer or gykores last season and without the cup run we weren’t far off getting play offs again, and even With hamer and gykores we scraped into the play offs on the last day of the season, we weren’t that good

Doing us a bit of a disservice there. We were excellent that season outside of that terrible opening. Only lost one of the last 17 iirc, were great on that run in with thumping wins at Huddersfield, Blackpool and QPR, conceded fewer than all but the top 3. We were well worthy of the 5th place finish. Great spirit and greater than the sum of our parts, but not sure we 'scraped in'.
