Really good so far, only minor disappointment Wright and BTA with the ball

They are two opposites. BTA is a hardworking scuffler of a player. You just need him to break into space.

Wright is one of those players who drifts in and out of games. Dave Bennett was the same. Often lackluster until he had his 15 minute purple spell

Both are very good players with different styles.

Would give Haji another 5-10 minutes and then look to bring Mason-Clark on

If we could slide some balls to Bassette would love to see him running at a defender

Whatever happens in the 2nd half (they’ll bring their big boys on), reading the Spurs forum match thread is comedy gold.

He needs to lift his head when he's got the ball, that's why I said with the ball. Defensively high up him and Wright have been good and kept the shape

He’s not keeping up with Norman’s press though.

Reminds me of how we used to play in the Hamer/Gyokeres days. Let them have all the possession but stop them from doing anything with it.

Love the way Bassette isn’t afraid to bark orders and make himself heard, really leads from the front and has endless energy to press.

On the TV the atmosphere is like watching a pre season friendly .

I'd swap Wright with Clarke. They will be stronger second half so any chance needs taking but a good half.

For no reason at all I’m convinced Norman Bassette is the second coming of Haaland

EMC at least can control the ball. Haji kept his first touch at home today.

We’ve got to get everyone around him on the same wavelength. He’s extremely intelligent and mature for his age the way he’s handling that front line against Spurs.

Really surprised he’s not even 20 yet, plays like someone beyond his years.

Solid displays all round apart from Wright who looks tired. Anyone who knocks Allen should think again. Right sort of game for Bassette and Thomas-Asante, can utilise their energy and be pests.

Hahahah. this is fucking atrocious. Whos the Championship team here. So slow and scripted. Pathetic coaching to be fair and I'm still backing Ange

EVERYBODY looks worse than they did 12 months ago.Anyone in denial that the fault lies with the coaching staff is delusional.

to be fair this coventry side is better than anything he would of played domestically in his career. tough gig.

Against fucking Coventry man this shit is so sad. This football is Nuno level bad.

You know things aren't quite right when you are playing Coventry and Solanke has had less touches than Ben Davies.

Think we just need to keep doing what we’re doing here.

Soon the Coventry keeper will doze off and if we’re quiet we’ll be able to sneak the ball in around him.

He’s played well and put a fantastic ball across the box to Wright that he should have scored
