Goes to penalties - and we carry on our poor streak in shootouts.
27,000 attendance and we give a great account of ourselves.

Season kick started yesterday. Very good point at Watford and Sheaf and Tats back next week.

Was a good performance but not sure a 1-1 draw is kickstarting anything

3-2 win with Mabbutt OG in extra time …OW wait a minute we’ve already played that card !
3-2 win and I don’t care who scores the winning own goal for them , just saying

Just depends on how quickly we get to grips with their quality. A fast start would be great…

Wilson
Milan Bobby Kitch Dasilva
Torp Allen Rudoni
BTA Norm Wright

A mix of what I’d like to see and what I think Robins will do. Assume Eccles will be out/in need of a rest, same with Lati. And if BTA and Norm don’t play here I’ve no idea when they ever will unless Simms is injured. Wilson cup keeper.

And yes, that midfield does scare me.

Spurs fans already got their backs up over Postecoglou and pushing the idea of a loss on Wednesday being the final straw for him. They have been pretty dull to watch tbf.

It's a bit early to bin Simms off,get him on at 60 mins, and go then, when it's to market Simms, that'll be his time for me?

Think we'll do really well ...look really good and give them a game..
We'll then be shit on Saturday, losing to Swansea but "it will be ok because we did well against Spurs"...

While obviously hoping we win both would definitely prefer 3 points Saturday so hopefully your Swansea prediction is correct

I’d take beating spurs over Swansea any day of the week

Would just like to see the league season get a kick start but can see why some would prefer a big cup scalp

I think a big cup win would be a great tonic for the season to be honest

The only way that would be the case is if it is backed up with a win on Saturday Vs Swansea...

I think we could see a fairly strong spurs lineup on Wednesday

Yeah. They’ll come out full guns blazing, bit apprehensive to be fair

We really should be playing a full strength side for this.

Swansea on Saturday is far more important, it’s time to honourably bow out of this competition.
