He took charge of a game this season and ran it pretty well I thought

Yes Blackburn. Admittedly he's been dire in the past and could revert but he wasn't really noticeable in that one which was a good thing. Most the refs in this league are fucking shite anyway so doesn't make any difference which clown they roll out from the circus really.

A blatant red card was at least awarded in our favour at PNE, but just thinking in recent games Hirst got away with it at Ipswich, Charlton nearly scored from a breakaway after there was a red card penalty incident, Southampton get away with bringing Wright down through on goal…it’s all just a bit lopsided.

Especially at Southampton, he was giving soft fouls all game long but didn’t give that. It just made no sense.

Rushworth

MvE Thomas Kitching Brau

Torp Grimes

Sakamoto Rudoni EMC

Wright

3-0

Can’t be playing Bidwell at home in games where we’ll have majority of the ball - he can’t attack and hasn’t been decent defensively since midway through last season. Would rather you go with the offensive output Brau offers and also give him minutes to get him up to speed. Brau also came from the Spanish second division not the dog and duck so not like he’s fully unproven.

Is Swansea now "East-side-Long-Beach style" soccer powerhouse?

It will even itself out; hopefully we will be the beneficiaries of some more fortunate decisions in the next few games or even better - at the business end of the season!

Id give Brau a go too. Nothing bad to say about Bidders, but as said, I don't think there is too much to fear about Swansea. Obviously they can beat us, but only if we play poorly in my mind.

Think we will win but wouldn’t be shocked if it’s a frustrating draw. Play like we did in the first half against Southampton we will win comfortably

Ipswich are away to Millwall. What we need is a result that matches those below us. A win would be great but let's get through this illness thing with the lead intact.

Bidders did well on the left of a back 3… there’s at least a chance he’ll revert to this in the absence of JDS

Don't get why we would play a back 5 at home to Swansea ? We haven't away at any of the top sides this season

We have more fit defenders than any other position. With not knowing who is fit 3 x CB with JDS replacement and MVE on the wing being given freedom to roam. Extra cover on the left when needed and our defenders love going forward.

Would prefer our better players to be fit though.
