I don't get to go to many matches, I live in Hastings. This is only my third game of the season. I always try to get to the Boxing Day fixture if we're at home as I'll be in the Midlands with family and I love the atmosphere at the Boxing Day fixture. I'm really looking forward to it. As with all matches I am nervous we'll fuck it up but all evidence points to a win for us, especially if we can get a full first team out. PUSB

This game has got to be a gimme for 3 points. We’ll win 2-0 for this one. Hoping Wright/Simms and Rudoni is back on the score sheet!

Why do we seem to be the only team with this much illness?? others have players missing through injury, but none are reporting sickness or flu like us. what's going on at Ryton?

Don't want to get too confident. By the end of the last game we had lost all of our 1st choice defence. JDS is definitely out and if Thomas and Kitching haven't recovered we're back in Wrexham territory. Would think MVE would be back.

Would like to think we have too much for them but nothing is a given especially with this sickness about.

And hopefully he hasn't caught this bug off our other players especially as it's been our defenders hit the hardest.

That's pretty much what I would like to see if they are all fit but I do wonder if we shouldn't start with Simms instead of Haji. Haji is having a lean spell and Simms was excellent when he had his run in the starting lineup.

It’s not over confidence, it’s a reflection of our home form where we’ve only dropped 4 points all season and Swansea aren’t particularly good, let alone when they’re away.

Lati and Wolfenden managed the Southampton attack well so even if it’s a worst case scenario, they should be trusted to play against Swansea.

I’d like to see Brau given a chance to build on his Swansea cameo but would Lampard trust him v Ipswich? The answer to that tilts who starts on Boxing Day imo.

I've said I think we will win even with 2nd and 3rd choice players. But like I also said let's see the teamsheet first.

Relax, we finished the Southampton game with ten men and without our back four.

That Wrexham result wasn't just the defence, though; we had two midfielders fit enough to start, one of whom was Allen, who isn't suited to that type of very physical game.

On his instagram he posted with the caption “SPIRIT” and it was just three pics from the game. Not a mangled foot pic you perverts!

Bidwell has looked so slow whenever he’s played this season. Not sure if it’s his legs going or just lack of sharpness. Would rather just give one of the other options a go.
