If they are playing, we need top performances from MVE, Saka, Wright, EMC and Grimes, especially. Dovin on top form too, though I am not at all worried about him. Seems to be very consistent of lateI am anticipating a good game regardless of the result. I think Sunderland will come looking for a win and will have a positive attacking mindset. Unlike a lot of teams who just want to sit in and defend looking to pinch a goal somewhere along the lines and going a goal down doesn't change that. Because a draw would send them away happy.
Unfortunately how we played at Derby wasn't a surprise, as we have seen plenty of performances like that over the last two seasons. But even without Rudoni we have players who are capable of much more. We need to see a reaction, we need to see a strong mindset, a belief that they as a group can make the play offs.
