I'd like to see a reaction from the Derby game. If we could beat them it would be huge mentality wise.

Can Grimes and Sheaf play in the same side? Sheaf has had few minutes and is notoriously slow at getting up to speed and usually plays the Grimes role. Allen is a conundrum - has a really effective game for 60 minutes or is completely ineffective. Eccles looks like he needs a rest. Very difficult choices.
DaSilva or Bidwell? Bidwell, he knows he was off it the other night and highly unlike the player to be off it again. I think Lampard will go Wright down the middle and EMC on the left. Simms might be warming the bench. As it's a difficult game against good opposition I have to go with Sheaf to allow Torp moving forward and Grimes holding back protecting our defence. No excuse if we don't put in a good performance. Draw the most likely but we can do this. Big effort b4 the Int. break.

I noticed that Sunderland are changing the badge on their kits tomorrow to highlight the danger of climate change.
Good cause, but hopefully it will be the floods of tears after we beat them

THIS

Are some posters actually stopping to enjoy this season? We're fighting for promotion. Enjoy this

If we make playoffs you won't even enjoy that as it will be a case of we need to win the semi. If we do no one will enjoy that because all that matter is the final

Lose the playoff final again and season end son heartbreak and now no opportunity to enjoy it

Only being able to enjoy the season if we get promoted isn't good

spot on, we should sell out all our home games from now, that was brilliant against stoke, gonna be some game tomorrow, can’t wait

Fractured c**ts aside, I’d take a draw tomorrow.

Hopefully Norwich can get a draw (or better) at Bristol tonight.

They really need it themselves to try and stay in any contention.

They threw away a 2 goal lead too, in their last game, to lose 3-2, so you would expect a big reaction to that.

How is it that being critical of some of our performances means you’re not enjoying the wins and the season?

Some numpties on here as usual

be interesting to look back on some of their doom and gloom comments in match day threads eh?

I torn on whether Norwich winning would be a good thing, as it may bring them back into contention?

I think Simms will start and will be up for it.

The midfield is the key. Frank needs to find the right combination from Grimes, Sheaf, Eccles, Torp and Allen.

Eccles hasn't been at his best but was unlucky not to score against Derby and Stoke. I really think Frank sees more in him than just being a defensive mid. Torp is improving but still flatters to deceive at times. Allen I thought was unlucky to be dropped as he was hitting form.

Left back options are a close call between Bidwell and JDS on current form. I wouldn't object to seeing Binks play there but don't think it will happen.

But I expect Van Ewijk, Thomas and Kitching to be in the defence.

If EMC is fit I would go with EMC, SImms, Sakamoto up top.

I think we need to at least add a point to our tally, but I also think we need a performance to re boot the confidence of the players and fans.

I’d go same team that beat stoke apart from maybe bidwell for da silva wright isn’t ready to start yet, sunderland fans don’t fancy this one, we’ll be right up for it, cov 2-1

Tricky one tomorrow, prefer it when we go 532, allows grimes to push up more and not play as a centre half like he does with a back 4, only downside with that is you can’t get EMC and sakamoto in, 433 we lose grimes in the midfield ( he was like a sweeper against stoke ? )

think we’d struggle with just 2 in the middle ? It’s a tough one, when they’re all fit it’s gonna be hard to get our best players all in, not a bad problem to have, like to see a front 3 of EMC wright and sakamoto with rudoni in behind,sheaf/torp and grimes together, thats decent; backed simms from the start but we need more from him

I like these last few posts and it will be interesting to see if FL sets us up to win or not to lose…

A back 3 certainly means Grimes has to play further forward but does he naturally drop too deep as we haven’t gotten a natural ball playing centre back….

For me it also demonstrates what a miss Rudoni is in midfield as we haven’t got a natural replacement.

Personally I think we go 4 at the back (MvE, BT, LK) with Da Silva LB (after Derby it’s a no brainer although I generally prefer Bidwell), Grimes and Sheaf, ahead of Saka, Torp, EMC, Simms up top.

Let’s see, no chance we keep a clean sheet but head over heart I’m going 2-1 with the SBA in fine form/voice.

Normally I would predict a five nil, but I’m logged in and getting a load of adverts as though I wasn’t so if this continues then this place will be unusable

A win is even more crucial now given the Bristol score. Keep expecting them to fall away but they keep picking results up.

Bristol City were hanging on by the end, which according to some on here, means they aren't very good and their win doesn't count
