I fear tomorrow and it's based on how we are now conceding too many goals and how easy its been for teams to break us down. FL never looks happy in Friday press conferences so he is hard to judge but if we have suffered more injuries he will do well to keep players from thinking luck has gone and to keep all staying positive.

Despite nine wins out of the previous ten games. Ridiculous.

Has our situationship with Sunderland died off? Or have we gone soft

Isn't the usual hatred I have become accustomed to on a CCFC v Sunderland matchday thread

It has, it's no different than any other game.

Ultimately, we were two clubs playing in League 1 without rivals and other big sides to play. It became the annual big-ish game.

Did we ever really hate them? We just reacted to them being weird.

9 wins from the last 11 games and you fear Sunderland?

They're absolutely poor at defending high balls. We're the masters of high balls and scoring with headers. They will be fearing this game more than you.

Hopefully we're 10 players missing.

It worked for Derby.

I'm not sure why so many people are worried about this one like we're playing Barcelona.

Yes it was a poor performance on Tuesday night and yes, we shipped 2 goals in each of our last 3 games but we scored 6 goals in two of those games.

Bar Tuesday, we'd lost 1 in 10 with only Leeds beating us.

Sunderland haven't been great recently, our recent record against them is great and we'll no doubt bounce back. As for Wright & EMC, more minutes for them the other night (regardless of performance) will have been beneficial.

I think we'll see this one out 2-1 or 3-1.

The March to the Arch continues...
It's because we have started to ship goals at 2 per game in each of the last three, and that's without playing a decent team. It is very concerning.

Definitely a few who pretended to hate them more than they should. It was pretty messy in that home game. The police definitely underestimated the trouble.

Sunderland who while they are a good team failed to beat a managerless City at home this season.

yeah and as has been pointed out 1 of those goals in each of the last 3 was the direct result of a terrible officiating decision.

it's not as concerning as you make it out

Those 10 games, there were bad stages, but not all bad Despite that I can see what people mean, I don’t think a single one of those wins was convincing. Maybe with the exception of Swansea away. The 2-0 at Blackburn wasn’t comfortable at all.

Preston. Ok, the last 10 were nervy, but we should have been out of sight.

Blackburn we scored at the right times. Crap in the first, but second half was not nervy at all.

You've got more chance of the footballing gods actually being real than you have of Sheaf starting a game.

But we won 2 of those games but scoring 3??

I get it and I understand it but our home record is decent. Last 10 home games, we're 4th in the table. Last 10 away games, Sunderland to be fair are 5th but have only won 4 of those 10.

THIS

Are some posters actually stopping to enjoy this season? We're fighting for promotion. Enjoy this

If we make playoffs you won't even enjoy that as it will be a case of we need to win the semi. If we do no one will enjoy that because all that matter is the final

Lose the playoff final again and season end son heartbreak and now no opportunity to enjoy it

Only being able to enjoy the season if we get promoted isn't good
