Playing a high line against Sunderland is a risk, as they have some very quick forwards.

Unfortunately can see the difference today being a narrow one to them due to our leaky defence

We’ve got to approach each game like a cup final and give it everything we have.

If the team thinks it can just turn up like it did against Derby and put a complete wet wipe of a performance in again then they can piss off.

They shouldn’t even need motivating to give it 100% passion and fight today. Nothing less is unacceptable.

I don’t want to end the season on a low considering the hard work to get to this position to be in the mix for the play offs.

That we are already assured of more points from Sunderland than fucking Derby shows how bonkers this league can be.

We need to be on our game as when we aren’t we don’t get away with it.

If you believe in such things, few events from today;

- Saw two magpies independently (ie on their own) on my run this morning (one for sorrow etc) = bad sign
- Helped an old chap who didn’t know how to pay for parking and was getting into a massive fluster as people were getting irritated - good karma = good sign
- Nipped into my local micropub which is nowhere near the CBS, in a little town, in Leicestershire, and there are three Sunderland fans in here! Not sure what that one means.

Get the runesticks out.

Strangely, someone just walked past my front window with a Sunderland top on.

I'd read that as the ref gives us a dodgy pen but we run out 2-3 losers

Id like us to revert back to the elephant and ball permanent but I doubt that will happen.

Can’t see that happening as you say and even if it did happen could only see it as a kit exclusive badge.

Either that, or he's carrying a roll up chopping board and is just about to do the red onions.

I can’t see this being an easy game but I’m sticking with my original prediction of a 2-1 win for us.

It would be a typical week for the Sky Blues to lose to Derby and then beat Sunderland.

What a ridiculous team, full of dwarfs. No chance at defending set pieces. Need sheaf back asap

I'm not sure about Wright through the middle; I'd love for him to get a hat trick, though, obviously. I just don't think he can play with his back to the goal.

Is he going to play Allen further back with Grimes or further up? I'd much rather see Torp further up the pitch.

Wilson drops off the bench.

Not really a fan of Wright in the centre, not sure lampard has thought that one through or seen enough of him in that position to think it's a good option

Not sure Sheaf is defending anything in the air from a set piece.

Injured again.
