Should be a formality. Robin's will have them in a block formation for 90 minutes. We need to pick the side that can undue that.

EMC looked sluggish yesterday but then popped up with two assists. Tempted to start BTA to avoid breaking him.

Not as dramatic as last season please, can we just win 2-0 or 3-1 and have a stress free afternoon!

I would say a Stoke failure to win pretty much ends their season, they need all 3 to keep in touch with the play-offs so they may come at us a little bit more than you would expect

Hope you're right, we'll pull them to pieces if they do.

It won't be a formality. Could quite easily be a Norwich or Oxford.

I would rotate... this is why you have the bigger squad.

I could also be totally wrong & we go again.

Leave that to Lampard... Early goal & we're on our way!

Everything is far from done if we win this. Still 11 games ? And 33 points to play for? There can be no let up, we’ve hopefully had our bad blip but there is no dead cert victory at this level. I would never have expected Middlesbrough to get just two points from their last two home matches. Lots of twists and turns to come.

No chance. BTA can't play left wing.
"Popped up" I think that's unfair on Mason...he "made the goals" in old money. Proper contribution from a proper player.

He was holding his shoulder and talking to the physio on the pitch last night at full time tbf. Might be a good opportunity to rest him and fix him.

We’ve been rotating Onyeka and the front four pretty religiously, I can’t see us needing to drop anyone. Only a four game month next month too. Unless EMC or Wright are carrying an injury I think I’d go same again, bring the changes on a bit quicker maybe.

Onyeka really is the only question mark for me as he looked knackered as soon as he stepped on the pitch last night but depends how he feels. The intensity of the game on Saturday should in theory be more manageable so he might be alright.

Only ever played 90 mins for Brentford six times in 4.5 years. But lasted the full 90 18/30 in the Bundesliga. So think he’s just one of those, like Torp, who can’t last 90 mins in high energy games. Thats what the subs are there for tho.

I'm not one for rotating for the sake of it - confidence will be high so stay with the same starting XI unless injury (Wright's shoulder?) or the fatigue data suggests to the contrary.

Every expectation this will not be a classic free flowing goal fest. Moreso, a really physical battle. Dont see MR to set them up as anything but cautiously. Appreciate they need a win but dont expect them to press high or play aggresively. More expect them to try and slow the game down and keep it niggly and tight at the back for as long as possible, and ultimately look for a goal through a set piece or a quick counter.

Tbf to him the Championship must also be a shock to the system to any player that isn't all that used to games coming thick and fast. Especially when you factor in how physical it is.

Yeah I don’t watch the Bundesliga, but seeing that I assume it’s less high energy than English football. He’s done 120 mins a few times for Nigeria too but that’s also often not high energy. We’ve had a couple recently, Boro and Sheff Utd where we’ve played a very high energy game too. I’d be happy to bring Torp in for him, we just seem to be happy to rotate off instead.

I would start Esse for Saka and BTA for EMC

Would also be tempted by Torp/Eccles for Onyeka/Rudoni. Wouldn’t make all 4 changes, but I think fresh legs are needed to inject some impetus.

Expecting a fairly disciplined performance from Stoke, not parking the bus, but we’ll have to take charge of the game to find the win.

As others have said I can see subs being made much earlier rather than FL making wholesale changes to the Starting XI.

We don't seem to cope very well with big lineup changes.

Everyone saying we have to rotate, I dont think we do, odds are Bristol will beat Port Vale leaving us 11 days between games

Even if they dont its a full week

This 11 has just won 3 on the spin, dont change it, we have recovery time coming
