Why? Paterson has looked dreadful when he's come on to the point where I genuinely don't know why we bothered signing him except for the sentimental video.
He looks too far off the pace to even be in consideration to start.
Needs minutes to shake off the rust. People surprised he looks rusty doing so...I think dreadful is an exaggeration, off the pace is fair.

Peterson looks to be the only one with the requisite close control and distribution skills in tight spaces that is a number one prerequisite. Allen certainly doesn't have them and I suspect nor does Eccles. Both will lose possession too oftenWhy? I guess he’s played about 30 minutes of football now, should have at least 5 goals and 8 assists in that time really.Expected more from Patterson, but he’s underwhelmed so far.
