Massive cheer in the casino when Chaplin scored was my highlight of yesterday, tbh

I really can't imagine that Assante was disobeying tactical orders.

ok, so he was told to mark rudi in the middle, and leave the whole of the right side empty.
maybe lamps isn't the tactical genius we thought he was.

something was serious wrong with our shape yesterday. and i cannot imagine it was planned.

I was replying to the assertion that Simms was worse, he managed to be more involved in the game and fluff a couple of chances from the scraps, I've stuck up for Wright with fans who sit near me but it was hard to see him looking a bit lost today if I'm honest.

Simmo missed by far the best chance of the game.

He usually is and usually misses that's why he's not first choice!

i agree.
i was replying to the suggestion that he was following instructions. but i think that was highly unlikely, as he's done it numerous times before.
he plays behind the striker, or he doesn't play. period.

Would have been nice to see markelo have a go on the right for that last 20....all the clips I seen he was a right winger....but we are up..would love portsmouth to be title game

Not sure that was on the highlights ? Hadn’t realised what a good effort Eccles header was until I saw it back. Would’ve been great if he’d had got the winner being a cov lad

Esse and simms start that game over bta and haji and we win that game even if 0-0 after 70 mins bringing on haji and bta could of got the winner

Teams who come to the cbs to put up a defence know where the threat comes from - Tats not playing so stop EMC and you slow the possibilities down which is exactly what SW did

His ball in for Simms' chance where it just hit him was a thing of beauty

His positioning is shit and he has an awful touch but he is effective physically. Weirdly I'd rather keep him around in the Prem than Haji because at least he can put himself about a bit

Sakamoto the big miss today. With him in, I think we win. Holds shape, makes the opposition stretch across the pitch which leaves the midfield less congested. There were times when BTA and Rudi could have held hands. Pulls us out of formation and makes low blocks really difficult to break down. We underestimate (or maybe we don’t!) the balance he gives which is crucial to our press. Plus is work rate is super human.

suprised esse didn’t start, assante kept drifting inside we had no width down our most dangerous side, one of those games, flat game flat atmosphere,

That’s sort of what I mean. He seems to get lots of praise for “putting himself about”. He’s a centre forward - he should be scoring, laying balls off accurately, winning the odd flick on, controlling the ball, holding it up. And they are the basics.

Anyway what was wrong with everyone, Jesus it can't be just down to the corner for god's sake,we shouldn't be outsung by how many, did they do the library one, pathetic in that ground.

We’ll see how quiet it is at Blackburn. I think one of our issues at the moment is how far Singers Corner is away from the opposition. Maybe they should be given the option of moving over to block 10 and the bit of 9 that is ours? Keep 14 seated area and 15 as matchday only sales rather than ST. Then when there is a bid cup game move them back to 14/15.

SW fans were taking photos of the West Stand sat down. And also bits of the South Stand.

I think City need to review how to improve the atmosphere. The bloody music was blasting out 10 minutes before WLADITT. That is a killer of any atmosphere.

They should be doing what other clubs do and turn the speakers up over the away fans.

They had the option, a lot didn't want to

They've totally ruined WLADITT by the way, not sure what the media guys are thinking.

But the atmosphere was never going to be good at 0-0 yesterday, expectations were too high.
