The ball of the game and Gurney asks " what is Allen doing there " , absolute whopper

Yeah, but if it had been Clive he would have said "Great ball by Allen there and the Scunthorpe Utd defence are nowhere to be seen. Now all Haji Wright has to do is to square the ball to Mason-Clark...no, I mean MVE, no, I mean Sakamoto... oh, it's Asante."

What was the difference between this one and the one first half in the penalty area where he received the ball having been offside before,, timing IE Jamie Allen released the ball after he'd he'd got onside just I should add, thank god a lineman who actually gave the benefit to the striker.

Reading some of the comments now, and some people wanted Wright subbed for Simms, and didn't want Allen on af all

They must be paying so much more than us in wages.
Ings, Mee, O'Hare, Cannon must be on big money.

Think people went on about the tactics vs Wrexham a little too much post Friday. Reality is we can play the 4-2-4 effectively when we’re essentially full strength.

There’s an enormous gap between MvE/Bobby/DaSilva/Torp vs KKH/Wolf/Bidwell/Allen.

would’ve liked to see Frank freshen things up around 80 mins with Simms or somebody as it was clear the ball wasn’t sticking up top.

Huge win and great character shown, beat Stoke and potentially 7 clear heading into the international break which would be dreamland.

Also Bobby is 10x the player Tanganga is. Dodged an enormous bullet selling him.

Honestly after Wembley every goal we score from now on could be a yard off and I wouldn’t give a fuck.

I wouldn't start Wright Saturday after that display, he was awful.
Bollocking Dasilva for shooting instead of crossing when he did the same thing g from the same position 2 minutes earlier was his hilight of the first half.

I'd have brought Simms on. Wright wasn't really on it today, but it was a great run and very unselfish lay off to BTA.

You try playing football in Coventry while you’re still in America. Not easy!

Yep, he left us to get out of this division and looks like he's going to achieve it. Fair play to him.

I get booing some cunts that have left us but O’Hare was a great servant for us, and left to probably triple his money. Seems like a sound guy as well (fake accent not included).

Meanwhile we’ve got idiots singing Sheaf’s song whilst he’s playing for Wrexham against us?

Don't think Wright's was a shot. I thought it was a poor cross

Imagine at the start of season if we were told that on game 15 we would play the second placed team, and irrespective of the result we would be above them!

It was strange when he battled to the byline but then just let it run for a goal kick to them. It wasn't even if he thought it was a corner.

He has only two goals in his whole career, both at Bristol City. Last time in 21-22

I genuinely think his best bet would be to dribble it in FIFA style. Great ball control but no striking ability whatsoever.
