The O'Hare/Hamer thing will be none existent until one of them makes a bad tackle or plays up the crowd.

Doyle managed to do a great job of winding our fans up.

If Hamer wipes out Eccles early on, our fans should turn on him like we would any other player.

Let’s be honest, Hamer will score a screamer and COH will pick this one for his annual goal

Unfortunately, yes.

O'Hare will prove why we really miss him in the side.

Still boils my piss that Hamer jumped ship to one of the shittest PL teams of all time but they got to keep him this season. He’s a cheat code in this league.

Arblaster out with ACL. Wouldn't wish that on anyone, but makes them weaker.

You're talking about a crowd that includes people that sang the Doug King song and others who were on about jacking over the Robins sacking.

They'd react to any empty wotsit packet blowing along the side of the pitch.

Empty wotsit pack would be in contention for player of the season at the moment tbh

Not, as I've previously said, if they move Hamer into the middle to replace him, which is of course, as we know, where Hamer plays best....

Got two (genuine) Barcelona fans coming to watch tomorrow. They have been warned that the standard may be a bit better than what they’re accustomed to.

With the weather we're getting tomorrow they should feel right at home.

According to CWR, Kieffer Moore is also a doubt for tomorrow's game.

Why is everyone so weird about clapping ex-players. These two were superb players for us and both seemed to genuinely love the club and fans. Just because a player leaves that stuff doesn't cease to have happened. Give them a good welcome, be nice people

Cheesy not a chance, but Flamin' Hot maybe.

Not usually a drama queen regarding weather forecasts, but it looks like it will hammer it down during the game itself. Hopefully pitch holds up, but it will play a big part in the game either way.

If Lampard is watching from the stand tomorrow (assuming he has been appointed Head Coach) let's give him a fantastic Coventry City welcome with a hearty rendition of 'You're fucking shit'.
That should make him feel good. Not.
The bloke has been nailed to the cross by some before he's been officially named.
Some sections of our fan base are no better than the rest of the other clubs.

Some are disappointed it’s Lampard, some wouldn’t be happy with whomever it is as they feel MR shouldn’t have been sacked (cause he shouldn’t have been) and some are a combination of both.

However, I haven’t seen anyone say they won’t support Lampard (or any other appointment) once they’re in the role.

Caveat; I don’t live on here so I haven’t read every single post on the matter.

Can’t say I’m enthused by the prospect of a shitty early kick off, without Hadji and in crap weather. Chances of toxicity in the crowd must be high as well

Play Simms & Bassette up top and I fancy our chances of causing them problems.
Just about to set off from Hampshire with my daughter for her 2nd game.
Hope she's a lucky charm, her first was 3-1 v Leicester.

Cheering anyone that plays for these wankers makes me feel ill. Hoping we can at least avoid defeat and get a whiny interview from that sour faced old prick Wilder.

Bassette is an unknown element to them would be great to throw him in, see him use his pace and see how they cope with it.

He can easily push Ohare off the ball.

No Robins on the touchline and seeing Hamer and O'Hare playing against us for a nothing club constantly in the shadows of their racist neighbours.

Today feels odd, but hopefully we get three points!

Sitting in with DK today, so if they are stupid enough for Lampard (or associates) or any other managers there today watching, I’ll be sure to my forum duty and get it straight on here.

Think the grim weather might help the atmosphere, it’s going to be a proper battle out there. Not one for the part-timers!

Minutes silence for Robbings, half/half scarfs with O Hare and Hamer on them and some kind of cringey round of applause for both at the end. An effigy of FL burned at half time and a hero's welcome for new manager (local lad" Eustace

I think the weather might actually help us.

I’d back Carr to have analysed all the data and worked out exactly the right way to play in this weather. That is his whole thing isn’t it? Albeit we know theory and reality don’t always align, especially in football.

Really hope we get something today. For all the doom and gloom, play offs are still a possibility.

Yes, the laptop boys will have all the wind speed data churning out for every possible scenario.
I say kick the little Brazilian twat early doors. No room for sentimental crap today.
It's a new era. Let's get on with it.
