We did, we really should have beaten them comfortably and missed plenty of chances both home and away. One of the most gutting moments as a Cov fan to lose to them in that quarter.

Noel Whelan missed a golden chance in the first game i think it was ahead on the six yard line

Sheffield Utd are not a freescoring team, they've scored a goal less than we have. They are strong defensively though.

Two defensively solid teams up against each other then.....

Simms v Soutar? Ellis really needs to step up and put pressure on him
, Tats to get in behind them and make chances.

That Souttar is an animal of a defender! One of the best in the league for me

It was weird that Leicester bought him but barely played him, he's better than that clown with the long hair

Think he took a lot of flak for his games in the PL and was shut out afterwards

I remember playing Fleetwood away the season we won League 1, Tuesday night just before COVID and he completely shut us out the game

Middlesbrough really went at them and made them look very poor , hopefully we can do the same.
Whenever I've seen them this season they haven't looked like a cohesive unit

Thought we have at times , certainly Boro away and Oxford at home and possibly Spurs
Just need the players to believe in themselves and play with that swagger

Only available on Thursday afternoon 12.00 - 12.15, and if you are accompanied by Eli Roberts.

(Also, I think Henry's anecdote about posting a letter is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
Insisted that the GLW listen to it.
She wasn't impressed.
Different strokes for different folks I suppose).

Our style has more often been to try and hit quickly on the break. Which may be the best strategy here too, stay compact and then counter at pace.

Strangely enough, like most teams in red and white stripes.

Reasons I don’t like them
- that tackle on Lameiras not being a red
- the protest game / singing for SISU
- 1998
- Sorry everyone but I actually prefer Wednesday

Nah, they 110% pipped Sunderland to the title of 'Clubs I shouldn't hate but do' earlier in the year with their carry on

I won't rest until Sheffield Wednesday are liquidated and that delipidated shit tip of a stadium of theirs is flattened

I mean, you're not required to make a choice between Sheff. Utd OR Wednesday.

We are forgetting the plucky third party candidate: Sheffield FC. "The World's First Football Club"

Wednesday showed themselves up last season with the response to the Palmer racist incident. The amount of their fans trying to argue a case for it was scary.

Anyone know if there is anywhere in Terminal 3 at Heathrow that will have the game on?

Sounds like O'Hare is dividing opinions amongst Blades fans. Very similar to his time here. Very busy, good for pressing and always involved...... but sketchy output/end product.

There’s been a fair bit of criticism of Rudoni this season but he’s giving a better output than O’Hare in a worse team (plus he was unlucky to have one goal taken off him as an OG).

Different kind of players and yes O’Hare gives something different, but I think Rudoni is doing alright really.

This will be typical -
They have been playing Hamer out of position on the left of their midfield three. Obviously he has been extremely good but less effective than his in the central position where he was the best in the championship for us.
Watch him play in the middle and absolutely ruin us tomorrow.....
