As much as i hope we get someone in, i will only believe it when it actually happens, and see the player in a sky blue shirt.

Do we have enough players to sell that other teams want to sign to have a busy transfer deadline day?

Do we have enough players to sell that will still leave us with 11 players?

This day looks like a defining day for city.looks like a few will be on the way out.Probably the only way we can proceed with the lefondre deal.I wouldn't be surprised if any of the potential exits are linked to SISU /Hoffman saga and what potential deal is being done /discussed behind closed doors if at all.whatever happens on that day we will all have a clearer picture regarding the takeover and future oc the club.

I hate deadline day, we hardly ever make any incoming deals just sales, fingers crossed this year is a good one for us and we don't lose anyone important.

I do like thorns comment of kidnapping his players so they can't be sold

Deadline day is a defining day for SISU particularly if players are sold.
SISU have stated often that there is financing in place for all the running costs until the end of the season.
There's no excuse for selling players from a struggling side.

Can you imagine the team we'll be left with if all the big players leave (Keogh, Clingan, Jutkiewicz, Cranie, Turner, Bigirimana)?

..................Murphy..................
Clarke...McPake...Wood...Hussey
..................Deegan..................
..............Bell........Baker............
................McSheffrey...............
.......Eastwood......O'Donovan.....

Subs - Dunn, Cameron, Christie, Thomas, Ruffels, Phillips, Platt, Jeffers, Wilson.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

If we are going to get anyone in then that means someone will be going out - personally I expect Clingan and/or Juke to go and some lower division midfielder to come in. Cannot see ALF coming here - Reading would be my guess for him - and we will simply get weaker and AT will have a completely thankless task. Can also see Bigi going out on loan with view to a permanent to a Prem club - like Thomas last year. Whatever happens this window will leave us weaker and SISU better off.

He said he would be dissapointed if we didn't get at least 1 in. That doesn't really seem busy so the only other conclusion is that Clingan, Juke, Cranie etc. are being sold.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gael gets loaned out like thomas did to a big club as apparently many big teams have been watching him.

WRONG, he said we MAY be busy. It is a nothing story based on no facts.

I reckon we will not get the target all the news stories have been about (ALF), we will end up with one or two players hardly any one has ever heard of, that is assuming the club is not under a transfer embargo (that has been denied & refuted, but unless I see a player coming in I will retain my suspicions).

I was stood with my mate outside the back of the Telegraph Stand after the Watford game when Lee Carsley walked past
with a lad who I thought may have been his son. My mate said to him "They need you to get your boots on and get out there
and help them out mate." Carsley laughed and said "I will probably have to after the end of next week by the looks of it".

Conspiracy theorists may suggest that he "is in the know" and we may be about to lose Sammy before the end of the
transfer window.

I really hope not and that it was were just a throw away comment in passing to my mate.

think AT's comment about busy was more a general comment about the day than specific to CCFC. Cant see anyone going

AT does specifically say busy in regards to us in the article though, so below:

SKY BLUES boss Andy Thorn is predicting "lots of activity" involving Coventry City on next week's transfer deadline day.

Well i think we will not be getting anybody in atall SISU we be selling every player they can before the hoffman take over can be completed. They want to recoupe as much money as they can!! this is the reason AT is being told to say how well all the kids are playing as this is all we are going to have left!!! If a offer comes in for any of our players they will be gone. Aslong as they agree personal terms. I hope this is not true but i think this is what will happen :jerkit::jerkit::blue:

well given journalistic spin (three words picked from the interview out of context) and the fact that so far there has been no activity at all (2 keepers apart) despite what AT has often said...... I will believe it when i see it.

i hope you are right OSB but we know how SISU operate and this will be there last chance to get more cash out of the club and they will do it because i belive in 2-3 weeks they will no longer own the club (thank fook) and the hofman investors will be in then it will be adifferent ball game all together!! Also Orange Ken has found out hoffman is not a stupid person and he plays hard ball ken is well out of his leauge also there are a few scores to be settled with certain board mambers once the club has been taken over
