Great team spirit, and fair play to the way the players all took time to shake hands and chat with the Maidstone players outside of the changing rooms.
Their manager was class, applauding the home fans before and after the game. His pre and post match interviews were excellent. Think we will be seeing more him in the future.

That was funny, but then Palmer walks off saying 'he's too serious'.Love Palmer trying to put Simms off
Simms does seem a bit quiet, and it's difficult to gauge if he's really happy, as he doesn't seem to be joining in much eg when they wanted him to do the Milan cheer at the end, and he really didn't want to, despite a 5-0 win and his 1st pro hat-trick.

Yeah that was the part of the video that stuck out to me (didnāt clock it live). He clearly doesnāt feel accepted / loved yet and with good reason imo, I think we as fans have been pretty cold even hostile towards him from the off. Even after heād scored two on Monday we didnāt even sing his nameā¦ it wasnāt until he got a hat trick that there was a half hearted chant. Whereas Haji Wright only has to win a throw in and the whole crowd sings ole ole.
Some people will say that shouldnt matter to players but when they are too uncomfortable to even celebrate, how are they going to feel comfortable to try a long range shot or just playing with freedom. Confidence affects some players hugely and he looks like one of them.
