Collins ahead of Wilson on the bench is an interesting call...

Looks like it's the team I wanted bar binks for Lati but I don't mind that. But if it's the team I like them we're doomed....

I just don't want a high line that's all

A win tonight will do us a power of good.

Norwich are at home to Preston tonight. They may well win but a draw is by no means beyond Preston.

Tomorrow night sees Blackburn away to WBA, so they can’t both win. Middlesborough are away to The Blades, which is a very tough fixture for them.

Tonight is by no means an easy match for us but we are certainly more than capable of winning if we can get back to the form we were showing prior to the last two games.

Lati has been decent enough, just struggled with the pace of Leeds and Ipswich (out of position as well).

Only reason I can think of is because of our high line. Binks better at recovering. But my god he cannot read the game.

I take your point, but respectfully disagree.

In the away game against QPR, remember it was Binks recklessly lunging in on the half way line leaving a huge gap in to which the ball was played. He then just casually saunters back, and then has the audacity to stick his arms out complaining when the ball hits the back of the net.

I just hope Simms has his shooting boots/head on tonight.

My family are all from Liverpool…. I genuinely thought I was and went to watch Liverpool whenever I could(aunty was a steward at Anfield and a Publican in Liverpool for years) The day it all changed was the day I saw my passport in early 1984 and it read Coventry place of birth. This was 6 weeks after seeing Terry Gibson score that hatrick. In August 1984 I was a season Ticket holder at HR travelling g home and away. Never looked back and have never regretted it.

You know what they say, you can take the kid out of Coventry but you can't take the Coventry out of the kid.

Not sarcasm. And Allen's there if needed. Think he's picked a side to fully utilise Grimes, andI expect that to happen.

Still going to be 20k plus, amazing to think that a small crowd for us these days is 20k plus, didn't get that average even when we were in champ 14 years ago

No queue tonight, straight in, no problem.
Makes you wonder why they couldn't cope on Saturday!

QPR not a pushover and all respect to them - it will be a great to win and get us back on track - if we draw not too bad - we just cannot lose , if we do it will trigger certain people who remained under the rock for a while

Before we get going tonight, can we all just say a quick prayer for the handful of posters who said Kitching was a huge waste of club funds. CCFC captain tonight.

Amen. Please be seated.

It’s been the case for a while now? Wilson will be gone at the end of the season whereas Collins is under contract.

He was a good captain at Barnsley which made it all the more strange that he couldn’t get a look in under MR and Carr this season. Particularly when it seemed obvious to all we missed leadership qualities at the back.

From Day 1, our most reliable CBs were always Thomas and Kitching.
