What it will be:
Rushworth
MvE Thomas Kitching DaSilva
Torp Grimes
BTA Rudoni EMC
Wright

What I'd quite like to see
Rushworth
MvE Thomas Kitching DaSilva
Rudoni Torp Grimes EMC
Wright Simms/BTA

Either way - 2-0 win.

Ah shame. BTA probably deserves to start though after last game anyway.

In the after game interview? He said maybe before or maybe just after?

I’d swap a couple. MVE for KKH and Brau for dasilva

Win this and that sets us up to go and get a win at Oxford, 10 points from 12 would be a very decent start form first 4 games going into the international break.

QPR have some really good attacking players. I can see them just letting us have the ball and if we don't score first or early, could be another frustrating game with them punishing our mistakes (because there will be a few as there always is).

I'm going to go for 2-2.

You’d swap Milan after how he played Saturday?

A solid performance, a win and a clean sheet and I'll start to feel really excited about what we can do this season.

Taking her indoors to this game , and she has predicted a 4-1 win so get your money on it … she’s always right… even when she’s wrong

On balance yes. KKH has looked fine. I’d give him a start with Van Ewijk on on the hour. We’ve been really lucky with his fitness and to be honest I think it will make us better defensively

Simms played wide at Preston, couple of years ago, and was really good actually.
I don't think you can mess with any of the front 3 after Saturday.

MAB for JDS, otherwise as you were, I'd even keep BTA.

Enough initials...

A penalty, a fluke of a goal from a free kick that should never have been given and one goal conceded from a genuine effort isn't reason to panic and make changes. Clueless

Penalty as we were all at sea positionally. Free kick as they got in down our side again. Third goal as they got in behind us again and we couldn’t clear. That’s just the goals. We won’t always get away with our LB playing neat 10 yard passes to their full back that masquerades as a clearance.

See response previous. You really shouldn’t let the excitement of a very good 3 goal burst mask some of the keystone cops defending that we do.

What do you suppose we do then. We have limited options to change it in defence.

Surely Brau gets a go at some point. Although I expect he will be given the Millwall game first then we might see him start in the league.

We have barely conceded a chance in the first three games of the season, 5th lowest xGA.

With Sakamoto out , possibly until after the break , an alternative right sided pairing of Milan ahead of Kesler-Hayden ……
Their pace & Milan being more direct than Asante , could be a good option against a team that seems to be struggling ?

Well whatever the xga I’ve seen us look like conceding goals against a rank Hull side, Luton’s reserves followed by three against versus a Derby side that isn’t great. Plus, we conceded terrible goals all last season.

Strange game for MvE on Saturday. Thought he had one of his poorest games but had two assists to show for it

Isn't that how last season went as well, though? Goals against us just happened, rarely had to be earned.

I rate Kitching, I like Thomas, I think with MVE or KKH we'll be fine that side. I hope Brau proves he's solid.

but we concede more than it feels like we should, so I get asking questions. It's not luck or coincidence.

I think after a pre-season with the squad, we give Frank and the coaches a fair few games then judge.

but there's a chunk of evidence that with the CBs we have, we concede too many for where we want to go.
