Throw away the biggest lead ever just to instantly turn it on the second we're not top and get a healthily lead.

Did we just need a challenge?

I originally thought he would be the RW with Sakamoto.

Now seems like with Him, EMC and Wright we have enough cover for the left, and we are more likely to sign strikers and a RW

That is a bold take for a cameo against a beaten team!

Ipswich have conceded (and been nice about it!)

Forum | That's Coventry up then by GlasgowBlue

No one is catching them now. Crazy that they were on the ropes until they beat Boro. Won every game since.

Preston were utter fucking garbage tonight, truly abysmal top to bottom from first man to the last (apart from a couple of their subs who seemed up for it), a miserable performance start to end from them but these are the kinds of games that used to make us wilt and tonight demonstrates why we're going up as Champions. Elite organisation, effort, efficiency and commitment from everyone. Grimes and Onyeka were phenomenal. Kitching was fantastic. Simms exactly what we needed up top against a team like this. What a night!

I won't be happy until it is over 100.

In fact, I would like a Trump-esque "drug prices will drop by 600%" certainty.

Someone sack the AV man though. Crowd constantly drowned out and not sure what’s going on. Just needs one WLADITT not five a game. Get the crowd singing and let them it’s a football match not an after party.

Very comfortable win. We were excellent. Preston were grotesquely bad. Which was nice.

I really didn't expect them to set up like that. I thought they were going to go for a full on low block.

Someone needs to explain to Heckingbottom how numbers work. You can’t have three ‘first contacts’.

One foot over the line now. It's nearly done

That was such a easy routine win. They were awful today tbf but don't take anything away from us. Were the best team in the league

Markelo looked good in his cameo. Not bad for someone who is DOA...

Simms with a good cF performance. Shame he didn't get his goal but played well.

Onyenka too we ain't seen best of yet and today he showed he has alot more to show us yet

Woolf and kitching great at back.

Da Silva another exceptional display

Looking around the ground today when the singing for going at the end. These are the moments to remember. Their away fans warhxing us and thinking one day that will be us. I've done it so many times as a cov fan and now finnaly I get to be the fan of the best team in the league

We eased through at a canter, reserving energy, not risking injuries and giving minutes to the squad. Completely saved Wright for Saturday. This was a masterclass of a team structure in control of what it's doing. Individually, Asante got minutes again if not too effective. Saka and EMC rested late on. Esse given minutes but I would say he's not in the same headspace as the rest of the players. Markelo looks a prospect with his cameo, particularly his movement was very good. Onyeka saved for saturday - him and Grimes are excellent. Milan saved for saturday. Big shout out to Wolfy...he has took ownership of that spot for me. Starting to look very good. Thamas and him would be a great pairing. Simms derseve a goal but he got 90 minutes which is good. Torp looks quality and his shooting in and around the box just can't be ignored.
Overall routine, and what a night its been with other results. I reckon 4 more wins and a draw will be enough.

I reckon 3 wins might now be enough for at least second, that’s how close we are. 86 points means Boro or Millwall have got to be amazing and then some . 4 wins for me is the title now

2nd 6 match winning streak this season. I took a screenshot of the first for posterity as I couldn't envisage another - just phenomenal to have a run like this again. What a time to be a Skyblue

Interviews with Grimes and BTA really good.

Players heads firmly on their shoulders and not letting the dream run away with them.
