On reflection it shouldn’t matter if Portsmouth come and get something actually, wouldn’t fill next opponents with confidence or anything…

Cian Tyler is fit, played for the under-21s just couple of weeks ago, he's a big lad built like a brick shit house.

So you've change your mind then, you said in the Burnley match thread, game over season over.

Nice try but nothing needs explaining. If we can’t finish off the second worst away form team at home when the stakes rise by the week, then I’m not sure why I’d fancy our chances.

There is a difference between not fancying our chances and saying we're out of the race

Can we at least agree on that?

I’m pretty confident and will go for a six nil win, they go lucky that we had a clown in goal that day(shit).

Take Collins out of the equation and this really should be a home win. With him there anything's possible

You know sometimes you just chuck a youth teamer in and see if they sink or swim? Are we there with our keepers?

I guess some people would just rather us have too much to do.

Which people? Don't think anyone is saying they don't want to win are they?

I said myself it's very very important to win.

Just saying it's not over if we lose. We could get lucky with rivals results and worst case scenario 4pts is not insurmountable

Drop Collins for Wilson.
Go back to 5 at the back.
Bring Sheaf into Midfield for Allen.

Not with all still to play for we aren’t. The bar is so low though, one game without a howler is a triumph for Collins.

Agree on sheaf for Allen

Don't think the other 2 are needed. Not that I would have issue if both happened either mind you

Maybe we can agree then. But Boro will have their tails up against a faltering Leeds and there’s nothing really good to come out of Bristol/WBA. Form and confidence is vital atm.

Agreed. A win would be massive no doubt.

I think Leeds will bounce back. Maybe in this game.

Can see Bristol continuing to win though so if they do a win for us would make it a 3 way race for 2 positions pretty much going into final 5.

We win, Boro lose and Bristol draw the perspective completely changes. Hardly unimaginable sequence of results.

And I know losing to Sheff U and Burnley isn’t a crisis, but incidents like yesterday will affect confidence in the team.

That is a worry but jow Edwards seemed to give off the sense all is well on the camp.

Further losses to non parachute teams could deny confidence though.

Neither sub came on with time to get into the pace of the game. Ridiculously late. Torp and Simms should have been on the pitch on or shortly after the hour. It was obvious where the weaknesses were.

This is Frank's big flaw according to my neighbour in Block 19 who has met Derby supporters. Too inflexible; not so good when the game is going against his team; sticks dogmatically to his original selection in the hope that 'they will pull through'.

We shall see. Early doors as they say

The actual law states that “Each team consists of a maximum eleven players ( (excluding substitutes), one of whom must be a goalkeeper”
It goes on to state “Goalkeepers” ( note the plural) “are the only players” (plural again) “allowed to use their hands or arms”
“One of whom must be a goalkeeper” doesn’t say another one couldn’t be as well.
Maybe we could leave Collins in and have a partially fit Wilson beside him as support and play a 3-3-3?

In the very specific case of that goal yesterday, if there's no keeper Kitching just boots it into touch!

back up to 5th on weds, then it’s back in our hands, and if we can’t beat,Portsmouth Plymouth, hull and luton then we probably don’t deserve a play off spot,

On paper this is the easiest game of the run in, because we are at home and their away form is not great. However, they need the points and it will be route one and bombarding Collins with in swinging corners.
We have a small midfield and it will be a battle.

If we're not going to start Wilson in goal then surely we have to use our utility man in there? Latibeadiere can't be worse than Collins?

Well WBA’s loss over the weekend softened some of the blow, but results largely didn’t go our way this weekend. We need a win vs Portsmouth to make up some ground and get back into the playoff places, but Collins doesn’t fill me with any confidence. Really hoping Leeds wake up and beat Boro, but could easily see Leeds losing this. Think Bristol C will beat WBA although hoping for a draw.
